They would greet you and give you a fair price…read more It was a bit more than a lot of detail places but when they were finished cleaning your vehicle, it would look brand new and no surprise charges. Top notch work...worth every penny. Fast forward 2 years and a couple of area awards later, they still do a great job. No complaints about THE WORK! End result is still amazing. So why the rating? Bad/questionable sales practices! After being away for awhile, I decided to start using them again. I brought my vehicle in and they gave me a quote as before and I made an appointment. Then they apologized and quoted me a higher price. I should have walked away but I relented and agreed to the higher price. Honest mistake right? When I dropped off my vehicle, they continually tried to up-sale me on additional services to the point where I had to leave to keep from being hounded. If that wasn't bad enough... when I came back to pick up my vehicle, they wanted to add a surcharge for "extra" work they had to do. The sales person tried to say when I got the original quote that a surcharge may be added. That was not true for I would have insisted on them looking over the vehicle up front. I didn't even get a phone call to say, "Hey, we need to charge more because we didn't get a completely spotless vehicle to detail." No, they waited until I was trying to pay to spring the new charge on me. When I complained they removed the charge and then told be not to bring my vehicle there anymore. WHAT?!?!? I question a charge and I'm no longer welcomed? Is this anyway to treat your customers? I guess they have enough business to where they can. Again, I have no problem with the work, I have issues with the sales practices and now have very little respect for them. I can go down the road and use the automated drive through car wash 5 times for the same price as their middle tier cleaning (15 times for their top tier). Trying to help a local business and this is the thanks I get. MAKE them view your vehicle up front so you won't get surprised in the end!!!! They do require a $50 deposit to schedule, but will apply it to the total of the job once it's complete. The day I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the lobby was and all of the helpful information posted throughout. Hayes had my Grace (my vehicle, of course) in the back within a few minutes of arriving. I made myself a nice K cup of coffee and relaxed as he started the work. Shortly after, Hayes asked me to come back to show me an issue he ran into while applying the tint to my back windshield. When my back windshield was replaced, somehow the metal tray under the back dash was raised and there wasn't enough room to get the tint on the glass in one corner. Hayes showed me the issue and gave me the options I had, which included tinting but having a gap not tinted where the issue was, or to wait and see what I could do (if anything) about the metal piece. He was even patient and kind with me as I FaceTimed my son to ask his advice, and Hayes also spoke directly to my son to come up with the best solution. I really appreciated him not just going through with the tint job and being unhappy with the gap that would exist. I haven't had the job done yet, but I will absolutely go to Tint Pro when I'm ready!
