I was here for a colonoscopy, and was completely impressed with the experience. I arrived early and…read morewas quickly signed in by the receptionist, who carefully and patiently reviewed my record on file - paper work was minimal, but documentation thorough. I was called into the preparation area about 6 minutes early. I was greeted by the first nurse, who introduced herself and told me exactly what her role would be, and she carefully and pleasantly moved me through first steps. As she brought me to the examination cubicle, a second nurse introduced herself and began to take my vitals - telling me at each step exactly what she was doing. I was then clearly instructed on how to get dressed for the procedure, and provided sufficient privacy to do so - my personal items were given secure packaging and logged into the computer system. In addition to the normal hospital gown (which was cloth rather than disposable paper, and provided ample covering) I was provide with socks and a heated blanket - very comfortable and respectful of personal modesty. The second nurse returned and proceeded to gather extensive details on my medical history - in a very pleasant, interactive way. While this was happening, a third nurse came in and introduced herself and let me know she would be with me during the procedure - both the second and third nurse made sure I fully understood everything that would take place, how my vitals would be monitored, and took every step to make sure I was informed and comfortable. I was set up with an IV (which was painlessly implanted) and monitor leads were put in place. It was explained the doctor would see me in a few minutes, and how I could go use the bathroom if required. The doctor came by in less than 10 minutes - which I spent feeling very relaxes and comfortable. The doctor was professional, pleasant, informative and efficient. I noticed that I was asked a number of questions a number of times by the different nurses and doctor - which made me feel confident they were ensuring I knew why I was there and what treatment I was undergoing, and also making sure they were providing correct treatment to the correct patient! I was then taken to the surgery by two nurses who re-introduced themselves, engaged in pleasant repartee, and let me know exactly what was going on. I was then anesthetized, and the procedure went without difficulty. I was told the preliminary results and given amole opportunity to ask questions - and then releases to my wife. Sorry this review is so long - but I found the way I was treated to be very warm yet professional, efficient yet thorough. My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is because I thought the waiting room was a bit dreary and uninspired! Otherwise, thank you Dr. Yu and the awesome team of Finger Lakes Health!

I told him we going to the hospital not the bowling alley. This hospital is the first emergency room I've been in that no one was in the waiting room. Never seen that ever. They checked him in quickly and took him to the back. So prayers in the air for Matt We were there about 3 hours with them taking test. With everything coming back negative. The staff their was really attentive, concerned and listen to him and what he was feeling. They came out and kept me informed with what was going on the entire time. We did not make out bowling tournament. And ended up driving back to NJ where we both safely arrived. Thank you Geneva General emergency room.

My partner has been going to this place for the past 3 years, the care he has received has been good, his Dr comes down from Rochester twice a month to see local patients. The issue here? The reception desk workers. They suck. They continue to drop the ball with appointments, they make appointments, you show up and guess what? the appointment does not exist. No wonder the Dr's do not last at this facility- it's run like shit.

I immediately knew this was not someone with compassionor wanted even touching me.. He wouldn't give me a note to go back to work and I was fired and had to get top lawyers to get my job back. I was told I had arthritis in the neck and did not need to come back to their office anymore, to go see someone else. I never received a second opinion on my shoulders. I wasn't thrilled with the office staff professionalism and I believe it played a part in the outcome. I definitely won't go back there.

The offices are clean, well-stocked, and have plenty of seating. Dr. Fix was extremely personable and professional, speaking with me at length about my concerns and medical history. I thought I would need to shop around for a primary care physician, but I was so impressed by this visit that I'll be staying with this office!
