We were transported from Midlothian to Dulles Airport for an international flight. Our driver got us to the airport in time and was there waiting on us when we arrived from our trip to take us home. There were no waiting periods. The vehicle used to transport us was clean and comfortable. We were able to connect our device to listen to music of our choice. They had a bottle of water, writing pads, and pens available if needed. The roundtrip commute was very affordable. Before booking, I compared the price of using this service to driving up to Dulles and parking our vehicle. Since I used a Groupon deal, it turned out less expensive to use the car service than to drive our own car. However, without the Groupon deal you should take into account the stress of DMV traffic as paying a little more would still be worth it. From my experience, I would highly recommend using this company for your transporting needs.

I dropped off my car for some service and needed a ride home to pick up my truck so I brought up the Uber app on my phone and requested a ride. The car was clean and comfortable, the driver was very polite, friendly and professional. We engaged in pleasant conversation throughout the short trip. I have used taxi cab services in the past but after my experience with Uber I think it will be my first option going forward. I am happy to have their service as a transportation option.

The app worked with no issues and provided the necessary information of pricing, arrival time and car details with tag number. I really like the fact it's a flat fee as opposed to a taxi. I have used Uber out of Norfolk over half dozen times. I have also have pre ordered my driver the night before and that worked flawlessly. Not all rides have been four stars, but I will average with some three stars. I can't say I've ever had a ride that warrants a full 5. My recent out of Norfolk International to Home worked very well. The car was clean, the driver was nice and no hitches. The price was around $2 cheaper than my normal taxi fee. I tipped off the app. I have used both Lyft and Uber with similar good results. I'm using Uber more now since my status has better pricing. I would recommend Uber in Norfolk.

I am writing to formally complain about the unsatisfactory and unprofessional service I received…read morefrom your company, Horseless Carriage Limousine, on Thursday, July 23, 2026. My wife and I returned to Norfolk that morning after a five‑day Carnival cruise. It was raining heavily when we disembarked. Your driver, Richard Oden, informed us beforehand that he would meet us across the street from the Carnival cruise terminal, and he was indeed parked there when we arrived. However, he remained parked across a four‑lane road in severe rain rather than pulling up to the designated drop‑off/pick‑up area where he originally dropped us off at the start of our trip. I walked toward him and signaled for him to come over, but he did not move the vehicle. I also attempted to call the company to notify him that we were ready for pickup, but no one answered the phone. As a result, my wife and I were forced to walk across the street in the pouring rain, carrying multiple pieces of luggage while navigating morning traffic. The driver did not exit the vehicle to assist us until we reached the car, and even then, he only opened the trunk. He provided no help with our luggage and offered no assistance until after we were already soaked. He did give us a small towel once we were inside the vehicle, but by that point the damage was done. This experience was extremely disappointing and far below the level of professionalism your company claims to provide. Based on this incident, I will not be using Horseless Carriage Limousine again. Additionally, companies such as Uber offer the same trip at a significantly lower cost and with far better service. I expect acknowledgment of this complaint and an explanation for the unacceptable conduct displayed by your driver.

Paul was assigned to pick us up at 6:15. We pop out of the restaurant on time, no car and I text him and he says oh sorry I had a flat tire. Really? 12 hours before I had a confirmation...wouldn't one think if that truly happened that another car would be called in? Reached out to Roberto who said don't communicate with me any more. In reflection, based on the crazy driving reports on these reviews I am lucky Paul didn't show. Do yourself a favor, please avoid this company at all costs.
