We went here after a nice day sight seeing, and oh, what a nice end of the day this was! We found fantastic options on the menu; my girlfriend opted for the fish: it just looked so scrumptious! And it tasted even better. My choice of the day was steak, and I wasn't disappointed either, just one of the best I have tasted so far! the atmosphere in the place is excellent, nice and friendly staff, who were very attentive to our needs. We will come back, that is a given! read more

We were staying at Turin castle and walked a rainy afternoon to Kilmaine to get a snack at the…read moreCentra. We hadn't tried the few pubs at Kilmaine but decided to skip the Centra and try Maloney's. Michael the owner was the stereotypically friendly pub owner. We hung around for a pint and dried out a bit. Kids played on the pool table in the back. If we had known about it earlier we would've come here every night of our stay. Yes, lots of stale cigarette smoke from when that was legal, but the seating situation is great. No food, but Michael did come up with a coffee for someone who needed some waking up.
