Stopped by Young Cleaners based on a recommendation from a friend to get my dress altered and…read morecleaned for an event in 2 days. I was a bit worried that my dress wouldn't get altered and cleaned in time but everything came out perfectly. When I walked in, I was greeted by a really sweet woman whom I believe is the owner. I told her about my dilemma and she immediately took my measurements. She even explained why she recommended cutting the dress to a certain length to make me feel comfortable with the fit. I felt like my dress was in good hands when leaving and when I came back, the dress was ready, tailored AND cleaned. I tried the dress on in the store and the dress fit perfectly. I will definitely be making this my go-to cleaners for future dry cleaning orders. FYI: the cleaners is right across from a golf range and a part of a strip mall at 206. Can't miss it!

SHORT REVIEW: DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF…read more LONG REVIEW: I brought a pair of brown UGGs with water stains here to be dry cleaned and to get the stains removed. This was my first visit, and I went because there were coupons in a moneymailer for drycleaning. When I walked in, the woman at the desk was nice enough. I gave her my boots, and she told me it would be THREE WEEKS until I could pick them up. That's a little crazy to me that it takes 21 days to clean a pair of boots. She also said it would be $35 which I think is also crazy. At this point I mentioned the coupon in passing and she heard me but didn't comment. I said okay I'll get them in 3 weeks and I got my ticket and left. When I went to pick them up a few weeks later, I presented the coupon and she rejected it saying it was for "drycleaning CLOTHING only", which was NOT specified in the coupon. When I said this she said "I know it doesn't say that but we sent a letter out in the mail to clarify the coupon" which I know is BS because it went out to all of NW New Jersey in a coupon mailer. I was pretty mad but I paid the $35 because I had to at that point, and as I was about to leave a woman walked in with clothing. I asked her if she wanted my coupon, to which the dry cleaning woman said "It only applies to ONE article of clothing." Like are you kidding me? Absolutely ridiculous. After that I went out to my car with my boots. I began to examine the boots and while the water stain was gone, THERE WAS NOW DISCOLORING on the top of my UGGs where they wasn't before. So they got rid of one stain and added another. The water stain was pretty substantial so I am giving them an extra star for getting it removed but that is the only good thing about this transaction. I will not be going back there. DO NOT GO TO THIS DRY CLEANER.

The machines worked just fine. Clothes dried in normal mount of time. Staff was friendly as well. The place is messy for sure. Bags of clothes piled high to the ceiling at the entrance. Open bags of clothes all around. Just supper messy and sloppy. Would prefer everyone's dirty and clean bagged laundry out of sight. The location is good and everyone keeps to themselves. It is a small place but they have a lot of machines and a good ton of baskets for use. I would visit this place again. But if they cleaned up and made some improvements then it would be a better place. I'm assuming Hispanics frequent this laundry mat, as the TVs were set to news Chanel's in Spanish. Didn't appeal to me, maybe that's their market. Idk

I brought the shirts back and they agreed to redo them, but when I picked them up again, the stains were still there. I spoke with the owner this time, and unfortunately, she became somewhat defensive and implied that the stains may have already been there. What makes that difficult to believe is that both shirts had very similar stains, which would seem to suggest they came from the same source. Nevertheless, she agreed to redo them once more. To my surprise, when I returned for the third time, the same stains were still there. The employee working that day told me the owner would call me. I never received a call--no apology, no explanation, and no attempt to take accountability or resolve the issue. I've also had a few instances in the past when items were not ready when promised and was met with less-than-welcoming customer service. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with how this was handled. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication, accountability, and effort to make things right is what I find unacceptable and unprofessional.
