Bill was very professional, gave us an estimate (which he stuck with, no surprises), and showed up when he promised. After a few days of looking at the work Bill was doing, my husband and I realized we had found a craftsman. The quality of the work was astounding. Each task he did was done to high standards, even the small unglamorous tasks. The repair looked better than the original. We have hired handymen before. Bill is the best we've seen.

Adrain, of Escalona Painting, and his team did a truly impressive job repainting my ceiling. When…read morewe purchased this property, the previous owners had a popcorn ceiling sprayed over a previous popcorn ceiling in the living room. Over time it began peeling and falling off. The point at which I decided to look for a painter the ceiling looked terrible. The painter who completed our walls, who was not Adrian, referred us to a plaster specialist to complete the job. The plaster specialist came and assessed our ceiling and said, "You need a painter. However, a number of them will not take this on because there is sanding involved." I put a recommendation up on a local Facebook city group and Escalona Painting was one of the respondents. He came out to do an assessment and immediately understood what the problem was. He understood the process, explained it to me, and gave me a reasonable price. On the day of the work, his team all wore masks, which was appreciated with unvaccinated children in the house. They also did a proper job when it came to clean up when the job was finished. His team completed extremely professional work that has enhanced the value of the property. I have since hired Escalona Painting for other projects around the house and they are now my go to painters. This was a recommendation I wanted to write because several painters had no interest in this job and Adrian and his team took the job but also completely surpassed my expectations.

I find word of mouth is always best. So, we hired him to repair drywall (water damaged walls/ceilings from frozen pipes), and painting. Honestly, we were thrilled from start to finish. Since then, we have recommended Adrian Escalona Painting to my family, friends, neighbors, and they are ALL THRILLED, TOO. If you're looking for outstanding service, meticulous attention to detail, and reasonable pricing, Escalona Painting is the one to call. You will be glad you did! Highly recommend.

They gave me a fair price and kept their word to it even after the job got a little bigger than expected. They were hardworking and made sure things were done right, even if that meant taking longer than expected. The extra time was needed to make sure the right parts came and that the right person was there to do the appropriate job. This was all reasonable and I was warned ahead of time. The carpentry and painting was excellent and they even gave good advice on style and color. Jair organized everything and all of his workers were professional and cleaned up well after the job was done. Because the job turned out to be bigger than expected, it took longer as the summer went on and they got more jobs. However, they never forgot about me and would always come immediately if I wanted to talk with them or have something fixed sooner. In the end, the house now looks great and much better than I had anticipated.

I am honored to be the first to review this painting company. In order to give our house a facelift…read morebefore we put it on the market, my husband and I sought several quotes from painting contractors for exterior painting. From unreturned calls to quotes almost double of others to no show appointments, we were quite discouraged by the service and response from several companies (we probably contacted 8 or more inclusive of this one). In fact, some companies even came to our house, but never sent out quotes. The pursuit reminded me of dating with Mr. Wrong standing you up, etc. Anyhow, John, the owner of this company, was responsive and his quote was the most competitive of the few we did manage to obtain so we decided to go with WJ Skouras. We were skeptical as his price was so much lower, but we took a gamble. Ever since the house has been painted, we have neighbors and strangers alike tell us how good our house looks. Mind you, the paint was peeling and the house was a boring white before, but we have never gotten so many compliments on our house. It is no longer the ugliest house on the block and it's hard not to feel like a proud homeowner when you are walking the dog and random people tell you how great the house looks. The painters were able to chip away the old paint in one day and then finish painting the ENTIRE exterior of the house on another day. Not to mention, it was almost 100 degrees both days, but the three workers slaved away and got the job done. They not only did the house and the trim, but they freshened up our railings, our front door, and the trim on a shed in the backyard as bonuses and upon the suggestion of John. The workers were sweating through the job, but never complained. It was crazy, but they never even asked to use the bathroom. I offered them water constantly, but they refused although they did happily accept some popsicles towards the end of their day. We were excited when the job was done, but disappointed in all of the chipped paint that was disposed of in our front and backyards. Since neither my husband nor I are confrontational, we resigned ourselves to the fact that we would have to clean up the mess ourselves. However, just like he consulted with us in person prior to the project, John came back the day after the job was completed to check on his crew's work. He also noticed the chipped paint and had his workers return the following day with a supervisor to clean up the debris and to touch up some spots they missed. We were so amazed at John's attention to detail. I am typically a perfectionist and even I did not notice the few spots he did. We are grateful that we have a beautiful paint job and that it was affordable. Thanks John! We already have some neighbors jotting down your phone number for their own paint projects.
