He's got a broken tooth that's been in the gums for awhile and they are just Novocain and not being sedated due to his medical conditions as they feel it will come out pretty fast and easy. Just got called in to show me his tooth next to it that has a route canel isn't doing any help in his month and proceeding to remove it as well. We shall see. There is nice size waiting room for us to watch the today show being so early for his appointment. I know I have a great groups of doctors that are taking care of him in their best interest. 1 tooth is $506.00 and the consultation charge fee is $165 for a 1/2 hour visit. Insurance is put in and my share is $253 and has to have a check in hand for them. I have Cigna insurance and thought I would get a better price for pulling out teeth as I think this is after 80% covered. Wishing him the best as he's month will be num for a bit.

Who would know better than another professional, I thought, so I gave them a try. Everything about Dr. Erickson's practice exudes professionalism and patient-centered care. The words which best describe my experiences with them are friendly, efficient, and compassionate. The office is bright and welcoming, the office staff courteous and pleasant, and the equipment state-of-the-art. It had been a few years since my last cleaning, so I required two visits to get all the tough stuff off my teeth. Nobody was condescending or judgemental that I had avoided the dentist for so long. Both hygienists who performed the scaling and debridement were as gentle and quick as the procedures would allow, and my routine follow-up care was even easier. I also needed a large filling in a cracked rear tooth repaired. Rather than putting a full crown over the tooth, Dr. Erickson installed a four-cusp onlay, a conservative approach which maintains as much of the healthy native tooth structure as possible while strengthening the repair. I explained my general apprehension towards dental work, and Dr. Erickson and his staff took the time to explain and discuss the procedure, options, and how discomfort could be reduced. When I experienced some breakthrough pain during the tooth preparation, Dr. Erickson promptly stopped the procedure to administer more anesthetic directly below the tooth. He was meticulous in both the preparation and fitting of the final restoration. The final result is a tooth that works and feels better than it has in a decade. I would highly recommend Dr. Erickson's dental practice for their expertise, dedication, thoroughness, and compassion.

First, let's just say this office puts you at ease, and Dr. Erickson does not tolerate the idea of causing pain. I have many complex issues and he went out of his way to find a way to take care of my teeth without causing me pain. He took the time and the care. He and his staff are ALWAYS getting up to date education, so I am confident always that he and his staff will take care of my needs as well, if not better, than others. But beyond that? They make me laugh. They have a relaxed atmosphere and connect with their patients/clients professionally and personally--without crossing lines. Competence, compassion, humor, professionalism. When I'm at a doctor's office, I want to know that they buy the most up-to-date equipment, and that they know how to use it. 2) The staff is very friendly. We can all admit that being at a dentist's office doesn't exactly put us in a great mood. The staff at Day Hill Dental understands that, and is very kind without being overbearing (i.e. without the fake smiles and cheeriness). 3) The care is excellent. My hygientist and dentist (Dr. Farber) quickly did the cleaning and exam, and thoroughly explained what was good and what wasn't so good. They also explained things in a non-judgmental way. I've been to far too many dentist offices where you feel like you're the kid who forgot his homework assignment. Not so here - they want you to take care of your teeth, but don't make you feel like you're a naughty kid being lectured. If you live in the area, I would highly recommend Day Hill Dental.

They take Delta Dental (always good for those of us with Delta Dental), and the hygienists know what they are doing, pointing out various issues with teeth and identifying cavities and problem areas. Dr. Bloom himself also has an excellent bedside manner (or is it chair-side?). He also gives helpful recommendations in the case one can't get back into his office in time (he was able to direct me to the UNC Dentristy school to get some cavities done). Also, they have that cool white cavity filler stuff that's always good fun :)

I assumed I would be mailed a bill later on). Dana, the doctors assistant was very rude and told me to find another oral surgeon and that I am no longer allowed to reschedule (this was the first time I cancelled). They're entitled to not give me service but the treatment was extremely bad. Glad I won't be dealing with them anymore! If I was able to leave a 0 star rating I definitely would of :(

No dr, no exam to pay for! Just a cleaning. They recently changed to a four day work week which is great for workers but inconvenient for those also working a four day work week. A business like this needs a rotating four day schedule for the workers that way they're open 5 days a week. Makes way more sense as a business to me unless you're simply trying to keep your overhead down. I know several people who won't be able to go here anymore as they no longer offer Friday appointments. Smile rewards is no longer worth it unless you haven't been to the dentist in a decade and need a ton of work done.
