I never write reviews but these guys were so good that I had to jump on here and make sure someone left an honest review. I can't thank them enough for the work they did on my bike. I have 5 bikes and have been to a lot of dealerships. If you want that old school dealership feel with great customer service give them a shot. I honestly can't believe anyone could write a bad review about this place. While they fixed my bike I watched them help a customer set up their new bike and they did not miss a detail and they didn't pressure them at all, just made sure they were taken care of. Was in the green river Wyoming area and didn't have alot of time or money to spare when my rear tire picked up a nail and went flat. Limped bike to Flameing Gorge Harley Davidson on Uinta Dr and braced myself for the worst. I needn't have worried, Dennis and Nikki were efficient, professional and obviously masters of there craft. On my way back from Sturgis, 150 miles east of Rock Springs some dimwit swerved to avoid a 18 wheeler and his fire wood rolled out. I ended up with two busted rims and flat tires. Towed to Flaming Gorge HD, got there as they were locking the doors on Friday. Roger and his crew opened the doors, unloaded my bike, and I was on the road Saturday by 11 am..with new wheels, tires, assembly etc.. and a clean bike. Shop was neat, orderly and spotless.. sure it cost me a penny but for the labor, and new wheels I think I got a great deal..I am hoping insurance steps up. read more

Traveling through town I got a flat tire on my bike. They got me in right away and took care of my tire quickly. I spent a little time in the retail area and purchased a few shirts that were better than I've seen at many other Harley stores. The ladies in the retail area and the gentleman that helped with my tire were all amazing and friendly. When we drove up and saw the logo 'the friendliest dealer in the west' I thought that would be hard to believe. But they proved it's a correct description of how they treat their customers. I highly recommend this location for any of your Harley Davidson needs! read more

Poorest service and attitude by the service manager I've ever experienced anywhere. my bike was unsafe to ride after $1000 in repairs that kept it in their possession from October till end July. It was unridable so took it back to allow them to fix their workmanship. got it back again late august still unsafe to ride after another $740 in repairs. Service manager said there not going to work on my "piece of shit" I called the owner to see what's next. He replied we're done. I requested a refund of my nearly $1900 to which owner replied we're done and hung up on me. I filed complaint with Harley Davidson Corporate. I wouldn't recommend this facility to my worst enemy! read more

Maybe after putting 1000 miles of road under my butt in 72 hours made me sensitive, but I have never been blown off in a Harley store. This was my 4th store in 72 hours also. The 3 of us walked in, I straggled a little and the lady says to the 2 guys: "how are you two doing? Where did you come from?" I was surprised but thought: ah well, she didnt see me. As the 5 min conversation progressed, she didn't look at me. I figured I was maybe tired and putting off a bad vibe. I smiled more. Then she inquired what they (the guys) were interested in. And then, while still not looking at me she says to the guys: "the ladies is in the back and we have our dealer shirts and some new stuff." Didn't even look at me. I was fuming then. This was absolutely not Harley behavior anywhere else. My man was looking at a vest. He asked my opinion and they kept talking to him. I went to the ladies stuff and they talked to our friend we were riding with and the other sales lady walked by and spoke to everyone but me. I walked over to ace and 5 people greeted me and I cheerfully greeted them back so I wasn't sporting resting bitch face after all. I told the guys before I left that not one of those sales ladies acknowledged me. They ended up walking out and not getting anything. I appreciated the solidarity. Despite what the sign on the building says, NOT the friendliest Harley anywhere. Sadly, I was a little excited to collect another t-shirt on our 1800 ride. read more

Useless. The service department was more interested in putting up a tent to welcome Sturgis bound riders than helping me solve a problem with my Heritage. However, Pam and Stacy were friendly and helpful. Quite the contrast in experience to Chesters in Idaho Falls where everyone was helpful and friendly. The service was amazing. I came in with my parents whilst traveling across the country. We were immediately asked if we needed help, and we were promptly helped. Everyone found what they were looking for, and the two ladies who helped us (who, I should mention, were sisters) were probably the friendliest people I've dealt with in a Harley Davidson store. Called Cathy in service department at flaming gorge harley a few days before driving thru green river, wyoming. Had an issue with a 2005 harley davidson road king classic. Cathy called me right back and told me to swing by and she would have the tech look at the bike to see what the issue was. (Had taken the bike to Zion harley in St. George, Utah 10 days before, the Zion tech worked on the bike after I arrived to pick up the bike! Forgot to mention Zion harley had the bike a full week and assured me the bike would be ready when I would be arriving. I waited 6 hours the morning the bike was supposed to be completed. Oh the tech at Zion harley did not know why the bike would not idle. He told me " Dah no idea why the bike would not idle") so that is why I called Cathy at flaming gorge harley, on the way to Sturgis. Cathy got me right in as soon as we arrived. The tech looked at the bike and knew within 5 minutes what might be wrong. The cable was bad on the cruise control unit which would not allow the bike to idle. They did not have a cable but found one and had it sent in over night. We extended our stay in green river and went back into the dealership the next day. Cathy received the cable early afternoon and the tech installed the cable and the problem was fixed. We then were able to proceed to Sturgis. Without the help from Cathy and her tech ( kent), we would not have been able to continue to sturgis. They worked with us and gave fantastic customer service. To bad Zion harley does not know what customer service is and how to make customers want to come back to their dealership. All they can do is give reasons why they can't do the work they promised. I have been to a lot of dealers for harley and that is why I don't go back to many harley dealers because of poor customer service and their prices are out of control. If you need service on your harley bike and you heading thru green river wyoming, make sure you stop by and have Cathy help you. It will be a great experience. This is the worst dealership i have ever dealt with since owning a Harley. Last June I had the unfortunate luck of breaking down near Rock Springs during a week long trip. I had to have my bike towed to Flaming Gorge Harley, the told me it was busy and they would be able to look at it in a week which I was fine with, 3 weeks later I call to check on the bike, was told it was so busy they hadn't had a chance to look at it but assured me they would get to it. 11 WEEKS LATER after several phone calls and visits to the dealership I decided to take my bike to another dealer so they would actually do their job and at least LOOK at the bike. The service manager and customer service I received was the worst I have ever experienced, and I missed out on an entire summer of riding due to their incompetence. If you ever find yourself needing service near Flaming Gorge Harley do yourself a favor and get towed to Ogden or Salt Lake. read more

I moved to Green River WY almost 2 years ago. I left Gillette WY where I purchased my used Harley Davidson motorcycle. Deluxe Harley treats you better than family, free clothes when you buy, free lunch on weekends to create the comradery of fellow riders. With this as my bench mark my wife and I have spent quite a bit on clothes and jewelry. For most of these little things the place is fine. I wanted to upgrade my motor with a gear drive cam and a little more cubes to go along with a slightly hotter cam. I paid for my parts about a week before dropping off my bike. I was told it would be a couple of days or so. I told them I had to work the next 4 so it was no big deal. About the time I was expecting a call telling me I could pick up my bike I was told they forgot to order the fuel pack $300 more on my bill, I said yes. Another week later I get a call and was told I needed a new ECM because there was an aftermarket tuner with no computer interface. I was told another week and $349 more. I paid $1700+ for the parts from the get go. I had to pay $1774 more to get my bike 1 month after I paid for the parts and I was expecting 3-500 dollars for labor. I hope and pray I never have to darken their door again. This experience has left me with doubts as to IF I will ever buy another Harley. Indian dealer is not far away in Salt Lake. Chester's in Idaho Falls and Pocatello ID will be another possibility. If you are needing more than clothes, go some where else. read more

This happened to my husband in July 2017/ So, we are both riding our Harley's from Oregon on a month long trip. My husband had a flat tire in the middle of flipping no where after just filling up with gas. It was at a gas station that also hires out rafts-cannot remember the name of the place, but did have a couple of nice guys help push the Harley back to the service station. This was on a Sunday seventy miles from the nearest Harley Dealership which happened to be Flaming Gorge Harley Davidson in Green River, Wy. We called for a tow truck, and then Dave (hubby) called an emergency number listed for Flaming Gorge. We got a message-left our message and not two minutes went by but Dave's cell phone rang. It was the owner of Flaming Gorge who told Dave he would meet him at his store when the tow truck got there and yes he was closed, but he would personally change that now ruined tire and get us back on the road!!! He told Dave he knew what it was like to have a flat and be stuck on the road. WoW!! For anyone on a bike that has ever had a flat, miles away from a Harley Dealership on a Sunday-well you know that helpless feeling. I believe the name of the owner is Dennis, and let me tell ya- he was a lifesaver. True to his word- Dennis met Dave at the door to his shop and he had us come into the store while he worked on the bike. He brought out a 16 penny nail that Dave had picked up. We still have that danged nail for a souvenir. So here is one Big Shout Out to Flaming Gorge Harley Davidson. Your Place rocks! You don't know how you made us feel, but suffice it to say, we cannot thank you enough. We also think of you when ever Dave wears his Flaming Gorge Harley shirt. And- wished I would have entered this is Yelp sooner, but I had problems w/ my account-gave up and started a new one since I was starting to feel so guilty about not getting in Yelp to tell peeps. just how great your dealership is. Very disappointed with service department. The week of Sturgis is obviously a very trying time for dealers that are located along the way. I ride thousands of miles a year and I've had to pull into a dealer with an emergency. Eugene Oregon, Las Vegas Nevada, Reno Nevada, Rapid City are a few dealer that have got me back on the road within an hour. On my home from Sturgis this year, I woke up to a flat rear tire. I called Flaming Gorge dealership at 8 am on Saturday August 19th expecting to get a voicemail. A person in the parts happened to be in early that morning. I explained the flat tire, asked if they had a new one and was told they did in fact have 1 left in stock. I told him I was 2 hours away and he said perfect as service didn't open for 2 hours anyway. He said he pull the tire from stick and have it waiting at service department. At this point I'm on my way home and about 1000 miles away. Upon arrival I met with the parts guy I spoke with who took me over to the woman in the service department. He said this is the guy that called about the tire. She was busy on the phone trying to sell additional parts to someone who had ordered other parts. Something that wasn't happening today anyway. Once she hung up she filed some papers and finally got to me. Sage asked for my information and said she would put me in line. This was totally expected as I know other bikes have problems on their way home too. BUT when I asked how long she thought it would be she said she no idea. I asked, " do you think an hour, 4 hours, the whole day, or what" she couldn't even tell me a rough idea on time and didn't know if it would even get done that day. I asked how many bikes were ahead of me. She said two. I asked what they were doing to them but she couldn't or wouldn't tell me. Honey! Let me tell you how to do your job properly. First you she what is being worked on and an idea on time for those repairs. If the are doing an oil change, figure about an hour. If they are rebuilding an engine (which shouldn't even be scheduled during a busy weekend) then it's probably going to be a few days. Then to used how many techs you have working and see what work is needed on the two bikes ahead of me. That will give you a pretty good idea on time. I mean your service book tells you how many hours to charge for certain tasks even though we all know any idiot can finish the task in about 1/2 the suggested time. Anyway this dealer touts themselves as the friendliest in the west. I don't disagree. There were about 6 ladies at the door waiting to sell everyone a tee shirt or so other crap they don't need. They were extremely friendly. But service is the worst of any HD dealer I've ever been to. In the future I won't waste my time stopping at this dealer for anything. In fact I'll make sure my route doesn't take me anywhere close to this dealer as they are pretty much useless for travelers. I sure hope they treat the locals better then riders traveling through. And just so any readers know, an hour or so down the road is Salt a Lake City. There are 3 other dealers around that area that can help travelers. Oh I should add I'm glad they treated me so poorly. I saved close to $80 on the price they quoted a stranded rider. I managed to ride all they home, 1000 miles on a plugged tire. Bad, bad Flaming Gorge HD. You won't get a dime from me. read more
