Come through to have punk kids working, that are too busy socializing outside. Kid guides me in, then hits a button to start, then leaves and goes back outside. Two cars are in wash with nothing moving/working. Honking horns over and over didn't get any of the boys to quit running their mouths. Had to get out of car in the car wash, and go outside to tell boy working to come back in, cause there was an error message on screen. 4-5 boys standing right outside the car wash, should be able to realize nothing was moving. Have a monthly membership with this company. Some locations are better than others. This one is still fairly new, but everyone I come through the wash, all. Can smell is ammonia! You have the ability to use your monthly subscription and go into the bays and get your car washed at different price points. They also have available to pay as you go system. if you get your car cleaned more in frequently. Pro tip: I would recommend that you get the monthly subscription. You can go an unlimited number of times and you are always given the top tier car wash available. This is great, especially during the pollen season when cars are covered with green haze. This is also beneficial in the winter months when the car is covered in snow or the salt from the road. These options save a lot of time and headache and make sure that your car is always pristine. I really enjoy the staff that works at the Colonial Heights location. Whenever I go, they are always helpful and smiling and able to keep the line moving rather quickly no matter how busy they are. If you ever run out of supplies, they will quickly refill or offer clean towels. Try them out if you're in the area. Visited the Colonial Heights Flagstop for the first time today and opted for the highest tier carwash. The cost was just under $22. Absolutely the worst car wash I've ever been through! Dirt remains on the top and sides of the car and spots of dirt are still visible all over the hood. read more

Wow just wow. I hopped in the car and left without really looking at the "job" they did. They were supposed to vacuum the inside but I found a couple wrappers in plain view, they didn't wipe down the console at all, and didn't vacuum the trunk (suv not sedan). I wasn't expecting a detail job but really? It was more of a run through car wash and a kinda vacuum for $25. I could have done it for under $10 myself and done a much better job. I have a membership there and I frequent there weekly but today was the best ever! Went to get a car wash after my cross country drive to VA from AZ and my car was still dirty AF with water splash on it

I continue to go to this car wash, as it is one of the few options available in my area and I do appreciate the vacuums and towels. However, I continue to be disappointed in the wash that I receive. there were large sections of the tailgate of my vehicle that look untouched and there are spots on the side and front from bugs, splashing etc that don't even begin to come off. Most of this I am able to remove on my own after the wash, which is okay, but shouldn't need to be done. read more

Ever since moving down to RVA, I've been looking for a decent car wash. Coming from NJ, I am used to having a FULL SERVICE wash and clean completed within about 10 mins or less and phenomenal work. When I come here, i literally sit and wait for about 30 to 40 mins at a time. It really amazes me how long it takes them to work on a car. Today, my car sat in the garage area to be vacuumed for over 15 mins. I wouldn't mi d the 30 a month fee if the job was done A LOT QUICKER AND EFFICIENTLY! I don't particularly enjoy spending 30 a month for mediocre work. Just saying On a positive note: The employees working certainly work hard! I'm not too happy with my experience there today. The male employee talked to me as if I was stupid at the start of the drive-thru and almost yelled at me; he really could've spoke to me in a calm voice and I would've went through the drive-thru. However, he didn't even give me clear directions on how to enter the drive-thru because he was engaging in a conversation with someone else. So this is OFFICIALLY my LAST time taking my car to the Flagstop in Colonial Heights!.... I did not see it immediately because after it took an hour to wash/vacuum and dress the tires ( not because they were super busy either) I was late for an event. The guy who did the work tried to convince me that maybe I had a kid in the back seat at some point who may have done this..... . The manager did clean it up ( which took 23 minutes) and offered me a free wash next time. I kindly thanked her and declined. I won't tell anyone not to go there because,let's face it, it's convenient. I will say demand that it is done right if you choose to go...and Mr. man whose main argument was that "we just use soapy water it won't hurt leather".... I would rate this a fail if I could. Stopped by last minute today. Asked how long. 45 to an hour. Took 90 minutes. AND the car might be clean on the outside but wow they stink cleaning interior. I have a dog and hair is everywhere. Well it's still there. They don't vacuum between seats! I still have sticky on my console and passenger seat. It doesn't even smell Clean. Let's talk about this sorry excuse for a car wash for a moment. Was looking for a full service car wash for my truck around colonial heights while im here for work for a few months. Found this place and the website looked really good so I downloaded the app. THE APP IS TRASH. finally figured out how to even buy a car wash on there and then today set out to go get the truck washed. This is a chain so I went to the one in Chester, VA first. Very hard to figure out how to even get into this location so I finally just parked and walked up to the woman running the full service station. She literally told me that it would be a 45 minute wait because they have to drain out the vacuums when it rains to be able to do interiors. WAIT WHAT? left that one and went to the one on Boulevard in colonial heights next. Once again, very hard to figure out how to get into it and when I finally did couldn't even figure out where to go for full service so I parked. Went inside to redeem my app purchased car wash. Guy told me that the app was trash and they dont really use it (k thanks for the confirmation that this company is trash) but scanned my code and told me where to go. Pulled into the garage area to have my interior done. It literally took them 4 minutes to do my interior. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE. they advertise on the website that full service is just that a full service interior and exterior cleaning. Not the case. CHECK OUT MY PHOTOS TO SEE THE SORRY A** JOB THESE IDIOTS DID. I have been to many a car wash where they wash your car for you. THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE VERY VERY BOTTOM OF THE BARRELL and you should not waste your money coming here. I bought a brand-new car two weeks ago and I took it for my first car wash. When they called me to tell me the car was ready it was covered in dead bugs on the bumper and front windshield and hood. When I pointed out to the young lady drying my car she asked me if I wanted it removed and I said of course. She tried again and when she called me again I told her no this is not satisfactory. The assistant manager came out and had two people drying car. But they started using some scrubbing pads on the paint and headlight assembly and I told him hey you guys are using too much pressure you're going to end up scratching the car. And then I realized somebody had messed up the interior trim plastic on my new car. That was the final straw. Jesse the assistant manager came out and took my info. So disappointing. I read the reviews on yelp and said I'm going to give them a chance. As it stands I cannot in good faith recommend this car wash to anyone that is reading this review. I told the manager I'm not upset I'm not one of those jerk pain in the butt customers but I have a customer and I expect to get my dollars worth. read more

The staff is super friendly and polite however the services are not good. I left my vehicle to get cleaned inside and out. $25 deal. I come back 2 hours later to find handprints on the hood and the inside was not cleaned, just vacuumed. They rush and don't do a good job at all. Don't waster your time or money. read more

I went to Colonial Heights Flagstop today and paid $25 plus tip. Looked ok when I drove to grocery afterwards until I put my groceries in the back seat and saw the muddy dog print that was there when I went to car wash. I drove back to flagstop and spoke with mgr. he informed me that it is $5 extra to wipe down this door jam which is where the mud was. Clearly, wiping down door jams is stated in advertisement. He was rude and condescending and I am 75 years old and was very polite to him. He offered to clean spot but warned me that he really didn't have to. Don't waste your time. My car was half vacuum, the leather treatment was half done, the door jam wasn't wiped, neither was the interior, the windows still had hand prints, the outside had oily finger prints, my tan interior had black finger prints that weren't there before. The young man working there said they had to send several cars back. Called the manger he offered a refund and was very apologetic. End of the day I spent close to $50 for an half cleaned car and I have to drive more gas out the car to go back. Save your time and clean your own car. You will have a better turn out. read more

I wanted to see what the big deal was so i brought my car in on Tuesday of this week and the gentleman who greeted me who's name i believe was Brandon was very helpful, attentive and descriptive on what I was getting! This made me feel confident in them! So I go in and pay for my wash. Well when they said my car was ready there were a few spots on my car that were still dirty and the manager happened to hear me say something and came over and shook my hand and introduced him self as the assistant manager Tristan. He took care of me quickly by getting a few of his guys to help him out. I went to Flagstop Car wash today to have my carpets cleaned and my car detailed. They ran my car through the automatic wash, awesome. Shampooed and vacuumed my carpets, awesome. And they "detailed" it, not awesome. Apparently detailing means cleaning the windows, inside and out, and shining the tires. They did not vacuum out my seats, they did not wipe down all of the inside surfaces, nothing else. And after giving me my car I found lots of pitting in my tint. The only thing I was told when I asked the guy who gave me back my car "I don't know nothing about that, I didn't do it." That is it. So I had to take my car to a do it yourself to finish up detailing, and I have to get my windows re-tinted. I will not be wasting another $50 to have them "take care" of my car again. read more

If I could give this location a rating lower than 1, I would. Up until my past two visits there, I have been satisfied with the way my car was cleaned. However, the last two visits have been very different. The visit before last, I noticed fairly quickly that the front windshield was streaky, and it was difficult to see through it when the sun hit it. I went in today and asked that special attention be paid to the windows because they had not been done well before. When I left, I noticed that, though the windshield was not as clean as I would like, it was better than it had been. The back window had not been touched AT ALL. In trying to retrieve a bug from the vent under the back window, my grandson had left fingerprints. Not only are those prints still there, the window is so dirty, it is cloudy. So, after paying-and leaving a nice tip-I, at 68 years old, have to clean my own windows. I will not return. This location has lost a loyal customer. read more

This is the second time I have had "antenna" issues with this Flagstop. The first time they tried to say I didn't have an antenna on when I came in but after actually asking the guy who received my car, they realized he had forgot to put it in the car. So this last time, I did not get excited but asked them where they put the antenna, anticipating another "here it is" moment. Instead, I got the same implication that "it was never there", "we don't remember taking it off"and the "maybe it fell in the trap" speeches. Finally, after 18 minutes extra, I got the " we don't cover antennas" speech. I never asked them to cover it, replace it or give me any perks. I just wanted them to find my antenna, which I am certain was in place because I listened to the radio on the way in and it does not play without it. I suggested that they have customers remove the antenna themselves to avoid this happening. If I had thought about it, I would have myself. On the plus side, this was the first time I felt my car was TRULY cleaned the way they promised. Usually it's just "cleaner" than before I came, which on most times gets a pass from me because the price was so cheap. read more
