They are not really open to walk-ins (although the sign says it) because they are solidly booked with appointments, especially later in the week. The gentleman who did my pedicure was also friendly, but I was there with a girlfriend and her daughter, so I didn't get to chat with him. Prices are extremely reasonable (rare these days!) and the quality of work is top notch. They prefer working by appointment, but will take walk-ins if you're ok with waiting. As they are located so close to my new house I can see this becoming my go-to spot (although I really love my old spot, lol).
