Terrible haircut. Wrong color. Evolving prices for services. When I asked for a list of prices and add-ons so I could budget. Allyson sent me chicken scratch that was hardly legible. I think she just charges what she feels like charging every month. Within the list I could see that she listed $30.00 extra for extra bowl of color. I have super fine, barely shoulder length hair and have never paid for extra bowls of color in my life, above and beyond the price for full coverage color. So last month I cancelled new appt. Because of terrible haircut, wrong color and lack of flexibility in scheduling appointments. I left negative review. Owner, Janelle calls and says she's very upset by review. What can she do to make it right? I'm thinking...ok. That's very nice. I told her I wanted price of cut refunded. She says sure. Then she credits me $55. For cut when it was 80. I should have asked for the entire 205.00 back. Regardless, i have boy haircut, I don't think they treated me right. I don't recommend this salon. And the apology rang false - when the credit was not even the full price for the cut. read more

I am from out of town and schedule. Cut and color (after 16 weeks of COVID isolation). They were very professional to ensure I was safe. But they also gave me wonderful service and great- looking hair. Thank you for taking in an out of town client in desperate need of hair color. read more

Courtney listened to exactly what I wanted, explained what she was doing and products she used, but wasn't pushy about purchasing any more product than I asked for. I have always been super scared to trust a new person with my hair, especially after having moved across the country from my stylist who'd been doing my hair literally my whole life, and Lauren made the transition smoother than I could have ever hoped. She did a small trim (I am in love with my length I didn't want to do anything too drastic, and I'd never dyed my hair before) and gave me a balayage that I am IN LOVE WITH!! I arrived at my appt 20 mins early. At 10 minutes past my appt time my stylist didn't come to greet me and inform me she's running behind. 30 minutes past I had to ask the lady at the front working the desk, literally 3 feet in front of me, to see how much longer it was going to be. She walked around the corner where my stylist was and said "she's done, she's coming right now". 10 minutes later she still hadn't come to see me. Another stylist came to the front to walk her client out. I asked her if this is normal for the salon to make their clients wait so long. She told me that my stylist is new and she doesn't know her very well that "they all are learning her". She gave me her card and apologized that I've been waiting and she wish she could help me but she had another client coming. She was very sweet and I could tell she felt bad that my stylist had me still waiting. I told her I'm leaving and I left. 5 minutes later my stylist was Facebook messaging me to come back and she was running late because the client before me was late etc etc. later on that day after several messages from my stylist I decided to give her a chance. She seemed sorry and she was willing to come in on her day off. So, the next day I go for my appt and I was 5 minutes early. My stylist was late again! She told me all about her childcare issues and an accident etc etc. 35 minutes late. I wanted to leave but I stayed and proceeded to let her do my hair. She had great pictures she posted on Facebook that gave me an idea of the type of work she could do. I wanted to be more blonde and she told me that wasn't a problem. At the end of the coloring and highlighting, my hair was falling out by the handfuls. I did like the color but she let me sit under heat with the foils in my hair for nearly an hour! She snacked a lot, used her phone a ton and double booked with another lady which constantly kept one of us sitting. My appt lasted 5 and half hours! Insane! While I like the color I will never use her again. I like the salon feel but my experience with this stylist was awful. I'm not putting her name because I'm not sure if I'm allowed. It's real simple= They make you look GOOD! and that's your ultimate desire walking into these salons dropping $$$... I'd say they are very fairly priced if You are NICE ;). ... UPDATE: Book with Fix Salon if you donate to Locks of Love. When donating (to the charity that uses hair to make wigs for kids with leukemia), the stylist has to cut your hair in a ponytail, then inevitably cuts another couple of inches off to get the hairstyle right. Not at Fix. They cut it almost perfectly in the bands, and then did a tiny trim to get the ends neat. These stylists have the best training, hands down. read more

I've been going to this salon for almost a year now. Ask for Melinda for a great men's cut or highlights. I switched to Fix after a botched highlight job left my hair looking like a pumpkin, and the salon name says it all - they can fix it. :) Or better yet, just go there first so there's nothing to fix! read more

This place is wonderful and I think the stylist did a great job on my hair. But...with that being said....I probably will not go back. The only reason is because I didn't click with my stylist. My appointment took a very long time (because it was a long procedure) and by the end of it, the two of us were exhausted and she hardly spoke to me :/ It felt like I was what was getting between her and the weekend. read more

I go to Melany who does a fantastic job of helping me figure out what would look right on me and she works with me to think of creative new looks. WOW is all I have to say to this salon! After coming back from overseas, and having a root touch up that went awful I was in need of a salon that could do a color correction as well specialize in adjustments for microbeads! After calling around they were referred to me! I met with Emily, whom was incredibly friendly about the mess! I'm a level 4-5 naturally and orange from previous salon! Emily did the adjustments, highs-lows, cut, style, in just under 2 hours. My hair looked totally amazing and for a small intimate salon they carried outstanding products for hair and makeup-glo-minerals (very hard to find at a reasonable price). That being said I'm rarely ever totally happy from the salon however pleasantly impressed and will be returning back!! Emily (whom specializes in extensions) as well baddass for color was literally the best stylist I've had at completely reasonable rates on same day service! read more

I have been to Fix several times. Sophi, one of the stylist there is AMAZING! The outside needs a little work, the inside needs a face lift, but it is clean. The prices seem a bit high for the overall experience at first glance, but the results I get from Sophi- it's worth it. If the owner is there, she is a bit self indulgent and that would subtract a "star rating" from my salon experience but I'm so happy with my hair I can overlook it. I have encouraged my friends and co-workers to call Sophi up and let her work her magic! read more
