Zero stars. Absolute worst mechanic i've ever dealt with. Randy quoted 1 month to complete job after our accident and ended up taking over 3 months. Not a single update from him or his wife (front office) to tell us it was behind, only when we called multiple times for an update. They constantly dodge calls. He left fingerprints in the paint and used the same damaged parts that were on the car after so now our rear door will not stay open (he reused damaged hydraulic arms as well as the rear door seal that had a tear in it from the accident. He also never fixed issues that he guaranteed would be fixed to top it off. He never contacted our insurance like he said he would multiple times and all in all did a terrible job. Randy said to give him a call about the fingerprints in the paint as well as anything else we might find and has not returned a single call or text sent to him to fix the shotty work he gave us. Its been over 2 months now of silence. Terrible experience, terrible mechanic, and terrible service. Everything from this mechanic was god awful from the front to the back. read more

Took in my 2021 Toyota Corolla with only 300 miles on it! A trip to Lake arrowhead left some chips in the hood from a truck kicking up rocks... I was bracing for the bad news to repair... Randy looks at it... headed into his shop, comes out with a little mixture of the proper Toyota paint... with magic touch the chips literally vanish! He mentions if I look close in the sun maybe I'll find the repair... I can't see anything! Randy says no charge and if I ever need anything larger consider him... what a class act! Finally a body/paint shop I can trust my car with. I got a deep scratches on rear bumper off my Audi TT. Took it to two different paint shops by referrals. Both claimed 15+ years of experience and highly recommend. After 3 attempts by these guys I was still left with terrible overspray, dirt specks, and growing area of respray. I almost gave up and tried to have my detailer buff out as much as possible. Detailer told me nothing he can do to save the bad paint job and gave me Randy's info. Randy inspected the damage area and the botched paint job. Gave me a quick quote and explained his method and promised factory paint condition. Skeptical, but at this point I had nothing to lose so I dropped the car off within couple of days. Wendy was very nice and I felt comfortable leaving the car there. It took a little longer than originally planned since they had a little difficulty with previously coated paint during removal. Wendy explained the problem and gave me updated timeline. Paint job was near perfection... Randy pointed out an imperfection during inspection which I did not notice. I respected that and he's assessment that respray may not yield any better results. I hope I don't have to use their service often, but I will be referring family and friends for sure read more

You don't find customer service and honesty like this anymore. My car was parked at work and the front end was accidentally swiped by a 16 year old new driver. Damage appeared to be minimal so I proceeded to get 2 repair bids to present to the parents. First repair shop nearby quoted $867 and 2 business days to remove and repaint the front bumper. Took it to Randy's shop for a second bid. After glancing at it and hearing my story he says "Do you mind if I try and buff this out? I won't charge you anything." I watched with a doubtful look as he took the buffer to it and after a few minutes of scrubbing all the damage was pretty much gone to the point of not needing repair. He didn't want any money but was just happy to help out. The opportunity was there to make money but instead he genuinely just wanted to help the situation. I was really taken back by this act of kindness and honesty which is why I'm writing this review. Needless to say the parents of the young driver were thrilled and very surprised to hear the story as well. This experience will stick with me and I will be using and referring people to Randy's shop from now on. Thank you! read more

I couldn't afford the full price for their complete paint job...so Randy...owner...was being kind...apparently...to give me a discount if I did most all the preparation on it...day in and day out I showed up and worked hard on the car...I did leave with him a $900 deposit...he requested cash only...each day of my "day in and day out" working on the car I endured a litany of complaints...general complaints...specific complaints...existential complaints...etc...( it turns out he has severe blood sugar problems)...His wife also made it clear I was unwelcome because she would either be completely silent...or growl and complain incessantly. Finally...I couldn't take it anymore and I called him a ( "rhymes with witch" )...He immediately told me to get out...!....and that he was keeping my $900 deposit...despite that fact that he barely primed one panel of my car...after a few days I returned, but he was still so angry I called him a (" rhymes with witch") that he and his buddy tried to intimidate me with violence...and he reported me to his sergeant detective pal at Costa Mesa PD that I got violent with him...this guy has way too many emotional issues to deliver on his promises...he is constantly overwrought from not making deadline with customers cars...He considers himself Christian...yet he rationalizes his "ripping me off" as righteous...Don't give your money to a manic depressive painter like I did...go to Maaco instead for less expensive and better quality work. read more

Came to Randy for a second opinion on my rear gate after I dented it backing into a pillar. First guy told me I had to replace the entire gate and would cost ~$1700 and there was no way they could fix it to even just get the window replaced. Randy knew it would also be expensive to get a new part so he helped me try to find some used ones at local salvage yards. I know nothing about cars and he showed me how to take the door off and replace it if I did find a new part. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a new part but it was great to have someone teaching me about how to fix my car. I told Randy I didn't care about the door dents (couldn't see them behind the spare tire) and just wanted to be able to fit a replacement window into the back, so he helped me straighten it out and called the window replacement guys to come down the next day to replace it. After all this Randy didn't charge me a penny, the only payment I made was to have the window replaced. Randy is a great guy who's willing to work with you every step of the way, he gets busy since it's just him and his wife, but he'll give you an honest price and get you're car back to you in perfect condition.
