Fantastic! Super informative videos to help you figure out what part you need and how to install it, very helpful support team and fast shipping. My blinds are ancient and I have no idea what brand they are, but I had no problem finding exactly what was needed and installing myself. read more

I sent pictures and measurements. I was assured the tassel would work as a replacement. The holes were much too small. When I said I wanted to return them, I was told I'd have to pay return postage. I had already paid the original shipping charge . A complete waste of close to $20. read more

Shipped to me a $4.36 non essential and non urgent parts order that I could drive to my local Hunter Douglas dealer and pick up, using overnight air courier costing me $92.62 shipping. When I complained they refused to issue a credit claiming it was my fault. Be very wary l!!!! read more

I placed my order correctly, but the wrong clips were sent to me. The insert with the clips showed I placed my order correctly and I had two emails to prove I placed my order correctly, but the wrong size clips were sent. I contacted the company and the woman I communicated with via email was rude. I asked if extra clips could be sent to make up for THEIR mistake, but she refused to do that. I explained that their mistake caused a delay in our getting the blinds repaired, but she didn't care. I would rate her PR effort zero. This company is incompetent, rude, and cheap. read more

Awesome company! All the pieces and parts I needed and great videos and diagrams to DIY! I've used the multiple times. Zero issues! Great prices! Thank you! Thank you!! read more

I am very disappointed with the quality of the product we received. It is a simple connection in my blinds to change the angles, each one costing almost $14. I ordered a number of them for the whole house, after few months only one by one each of them are breaking apart. Unfortunately, we are back to same situation we were few months ago. What a waste of money. read more

I have used FixMyBlinds to diagnose and repair several types of cord locks in my home. Their website makes it relatively easy to find out what you need, order parts and install the parts with good instructions on the site. read more

The tilter mechanism on my Levolor blinds broke the other day. I thought for sure I would have to buy a whole new set of blinds for $150+. I went to Home Depot to see if they had a repair part because this is where I thought I had bought my blinds originally. A team member working in the blind department told me to go to the fixmyblinds.com website and they would have repair parts. I did so and found the tilter mechanism and ordered it. The shipment came as expected. I installed it on my blinds, and they now work perfectly. This company saved me from having to buy new blinds! I highly recommend them! read more

Excellent quality parts for my old Delmar blinds. Just pricey but quality parts. I have bought 2 sets of parts for our blinds and they all worked perfectly. I just wish they could reduce their prices since they don't seem to have competition. I'm happy I could resolve our issues with our blinds. read more

Great service and support. My blind is over 15 years old and the part design had changed over time - so the first part didn't fit. i told them the problem and they suggested an alternative that fitted perfectly. Spent $20 on parts instead of $300 plus on a new blind! Website is easy to use and great how to videos. read more

Exactly what I needed -- and fast! (I hate when I have to write a minimum number of words!!)

Fix My Blinds is awesome! Kereigh V. replied to my original email within an hour or so and requested more info. I replied with the additional info and was emailed a link to a recommended part to repair the tilt mechanism on my huge family room 2" slat horizontal blind. I received the part today, installed it a few moments ago and it works perfectly. The saved me close to $500 on a replacement blind for this huge window. I will certainly go to them for any further blind repair needs! read more

Wish I'd have found these guys years ago. They had exactly the right handles for our old blinds. Couldn't be happier.

I needed a replacement clutch for a 20 year old roller blind. Gretchen a Product Specialist rose to the occasion with several emails showing me how to remove the old clutch and install the cord onto the clutch. Gretchen was fast and precise with her guidance and now we have a roller blind working as good as new. Gretchen is the epitome of product specialist. Thank for your time and brilliant service. read more

Didn't deal with customer service at all, but I placed an order online and got the part faster than expected, here in San Diego. Fit and worked great ! Instructions are decent online, but could be touched-up a tad especially about how much string to wind on the turning mechanism spool. I had to play with it for like twenty minutes to get it just right. Aside from that, I would highly recommend this vendor. read more

They purport that the part was broken when returned. I do not believe that! The part was substandard and did not fit my roller even though I had sent detailed pictures before ordering. So, I paid to return and they refused credit. Do not order from this company! read more

First, the website provides a wealth of information so if you allocate the necessary time to review, you'll order the correct material and quantities with no problem. The videos are super helpful for visualizing how to string/lace the blinds too. Also, Vanessa was able to provide answers when I sent her a picture. I highly recommend this retailer. read more

I got a very quick answer to an email I sent with a question. Then ordered my part, and they shipped it within an hour or 2 of my order! Super fast. Their videos are extremely helpful in showing you how to replace your broken part. The site is well organized and leads you to your type of blind in seconds. I needed a new cord winder, it was easy to install after looking at the videos. My blind is now functioning good again! Very glad I found this business... read more

Spent way too much money on a specialized flat tape (lift cord) to repair an aged hunter Douglas "easy rise" cellular honeycomb shade. I ordered 25 feet of lift tape at a cost of approximately one dollar per foot and received 24 feet 9 inches. On top of that paid additional $5 plus for shipping an item that should have been shipped at close to half that cost. This company is a rip off. No doubt you will buy from them because there are few if any other opportunities to buy from anyone else for these niche products. Just know in advanced you will be ripped off. Next time I order new shades I will be sure that I have adequate access to suppliers to avoid companies like this. read more

They sent me a spool of cord to fix a shade. But they didn't bother paying attention to the details and so the cord they sent was too thin. Like anyone trying to fix their blinds I'm not an expert so I didn't realize the problem until too late. I spent a lot of time making the repair (not easy to thread the new cord through the locking mechanism on these particular blinds). When I finally got the blinds up I could see they'd sent me the wrong cord. Big waste of time. While I appreciate that the company responded, offering to replace the product, the problem isn't the cost of the product but rather the time I spent installing it. Restringing shades is a bit tricky but these particular shades are harder than average. So the problem was my lost time and frustration due to their carelessness. They did refund my money and made an effort to investigate the situation. read more

Terrible customer service. Don't waste your time. They will screw things up...Blame everything on the customer and not respond to complaints. I canceled my order within minutes and they ignored it. They mailed out the order I filed a complaint with PayPal and they have so far not refunded my money. read more

I went from clueless to expert in 5 minutes with their site. I had a draw string that began to fray and snapped. Shortly afterwards the tilt mechanism got stuck and figured it just needed more torque...snapped the mechanism's rod. Their site made it easy to locate the correct parts. I took a total of 4 measurements, the width and height of the headrail, tilt rod hole and the tilt mechanism body height. With that I had all I needed to identify a compatible replacement. The draw string matched the current set perfectly just going by their clear pictures. Went from inoperable blinds to functioning like new in 3 days including shipping. Kudos to whoever did their web design/backend as order confirmation, shipping alerts, etc. were all prompt and informative. Have no idea how good their customer service is. Though, for online businesses that's how it should be; I only want to contact someone if things go wrong. I much prefer things just don't go wrong and they delivered. read more

I have used Fix my Blinds numerous times over the years to order repair parts for my customers. This summer my business account was hacked twice. Taking all money I had in there? My card was replaced and I then used new one again with Fix my Blinds, I was again hacked taking all money from my business acct. My bank covered but the amount of time it took me and to oversee and to wait for new cards never knowing it was as a result of them being hacked. Although I need parts I don't feel confidant in using them as like another customer stated we just got notified in Sept. May and June is when this happened. Shades Above Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning and Repair Kathy Winters Direct TV and Forever 21 were the 2 that had my info thru Fix my Blinds and did double withdraws obviously knowing exactly what I had in my account. read more

The Cord-Stop Assembly on our Hunter Douglas shade broke. A shade service (shady service?) company exactly a mile from our home was willing to come and fix it for $95 plus parts; they would not sell us the parts. That did not feel right. So we did some digging online and found Vanessa at Fix My Blinds in Colorado. She was very knowledgeable and immediately knew what we needed. Total cost with shipping was about six bucks. Using the Fix My Blinds YouTube video, the repair took minutes and no skill. Vanessa was great to deal with. She was cheery and encouraging, just what you hope for from people who are in customer service roles, especially for things one may not understand. Thanks Vanessa! We would highly recommend your company to others. read more

Unfortunately my experience was quite disappointing initially as the part I received was not the one shown in the video accompanying the part description. And when I first spoke to customer service, I was made to feel as if it was my mistake and I had to pay return shipping out of pocket. However they have now agreed to refund the cost, so on the whole I am out just the shipping cost. Then again they are not Amazon, so I can live with this outcome. read more

Ordered shades recently from Smith & Noble (should have checked Yelp first on that!) and one shade had the wrong mounting hardware. We could get no help at all from S&N and, after hours of calling and internet searching, find that NO ONE else carries S&N parts. Thank goodness for Fix My Blinds. I found their website user-friendly and detailed; all the dimensions for parts are laid out very clearly. We were able to find the mounting hardware we needed and they shipped it out the next day--just like they said they would. In 2 days, my shade was up in the window. Keep their website on hand--they were the only ones that helped us. read more

Thank you Fix My Blinds. You have saved me from buying new blinds. I received prompt response and detailed instructions. There is nothing better than this. Home Depot and Lowes do not offer this kind of service. Thanks a lot. read more

I have an old Levolor mini-blind on which the wand that you rotate to open and close the slats had deteriorated over the years and finally broke off where it meets the metal "S" pin at the top. Fix My Blinds had the exact replacement parts, including the wand, pin, and plastic sleeve. Ordering was a snap, though I was a bit surprised by the high shipping cost. (If I added the shipping cost to the cost of the items, it still came out slightly cheaper than a similar item on Amazon even with free shipping, and saved me from having to shop at Amazon). After a bizarre 3-week delay (clearly not the seller's fault) while the shipment was held at the USPS sorting center (I think they had to check to make sure it wasn't a pipe-bomb or something), the items arrived and I then got why the shipping charge was that high. The items were packaged in a virtually bullet-proof cardboard tube, with sufficient packing paper inside to eliminate any chance of the contents being jostled. Everything in perfect condition, and my blinds are working once again. I'm very happy with Fix My Blinds and would happily do business with them again. read more

I am beyond angry. I ordered cords for my blinds and that went fine. But today, I've gotten a letter from the company alerting me to a "possible compromise of credit card or debit card information." This apparently happened back on May 23! That's four months since the "compromise" and over a month since my own credit card company froze my card, without explanation, and issued me a new one. What's worse, "FIX MY BLINDS" became caught up in an Internet ecosystem attack...(which)..."may have caused an infection of the web browser of your computer...(and) could have caused the loss of certain private information." Well, wonderful. The letter tells me to get a new credit card, change passwords, monitor my transactions... the list goes on. It will take me more time to handle this than it took me to order their product and fix my blinds in the first place. Meh. Fix My Blinds should have invested the management time and attention needed to secure their customers' data. But they clearly put their own excess profits over our well being. Unless you want your financial and personal information put at risk, shop elsewhere. read more
