History

Established in 1995.

Tim started out in the industry by taking a Project Management Program in Construction, which allowed him to oversee and coordinate all trades on a construction site. He worked and managed in Home Depot, and took specialized product knowledge courses which helps him in the industry to this day. Tim has owned and managed his own business in Winnipeg BC, where he renovated and restored turn of the century homes, updating them, while blending his work with the older style homes with great attention to detail. Tim has worked all over BC templating installing and repairing quartz, granite, corian, soapstone and other countertops, he is a certified corian installer and worked for Paragon Surfacing. Tim has worked on some very interesting projects; Project managing and building a remote arctic fiahing lodge, countertop installs at the Revelstoke Heli Ski Lodge, Floating Concrete breakwater system in Kelowna, and coordinating multiple crews for his own business.

Hello. I am Tim Durrant, owner of Powell River Fix it...Repair it...Build it I started my company here in Powell River as a re-birth of my previous company Kelowna Fix it...Repair it...Build it. I have over 20 years experience in all aspects of the construction industry from Project Management of large complex civil projects to smaller construction projects , building remote fly-in fishing lodges in the far north as well as commercial projects such as Harvey's Restaurant and Boyd Autobody to name a few. With multiple crews we also proudly subcontracted our services to Home Depot , Rona , Home Hardware and Flo Form Countertops as well as our own contracts installing new kitchens , bathrooms , windows and doors, interior and exterior painting, finishing carpentry like baseboards and casings as well as a large range of handyman services.
