If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm extremely frustrated with my experience so far. I provided a deposit for a garage building on 12/22/2025. On 1/9/2026, I changed the design and upgraded the building, at which time I requested the updated building plans. By early March 2026, I had still received no response. On 3/16/2026, I requested the plans again and was told I needed to pay a $300 fee, which I paid immediately. I was then told the plans would be ready within one week. On 3/19/2026, I confirmed the correct address with Ashley via email. Despite this, the building plans I received listed an incorrect address on 4/6, which were subsequently denied by the building department. I notified the company again about the error and was assured it would be corrected. As of 4/15, I still have not received updated plans with the correct address. This ongoing delay has been unacceptable and has significantly impacted my project timeline. This project was projected to be completed by now, but is at a complete standstill. I would strongly recommend that consumers choose a different company to work with--one that values their customers' time and business. This has been a horrible business to deal with, and I do not recommend them.I spoke with Ashleigh, the manager of the design area who is defers responsibility and avoids accountability. She refuses to assist with moving this project along, admitting that the company partners with an engineer who provides generic building plans (not custom to match the order) who has poor access to technology and has an internet outage for the past several weeks. I am hoping that the owner of Direct Metal Structures sees this review and assesses the effectiveness of their management team and ability to mitigate issues that are encountered. Ashleigh Billings, the manager offers no resolution, deferring the issues to the sales associate and the engineer. Ashleigh outright lied, stating that although she confirmed the site address, she did so after sending the plan request to the engineer. Why would a site address be confirmed after she made a request for the plans to be drawn? The correct address is required to be on the building plans. Ashleigh did not perform her due diligence and offers no value to the escalation process at your organization. Ashleigh also informed me that she does not report directly to anyone beside the owner, who she states does not speak to customers. read more
