I was looking for a radon mitigation tech because my home tester device was reading over 12 pCi/L, which is very high. The EPA recommends mitigation at levels above 4 pCi/L. So, I called A1 Healthy Homes for a radon mitigation system quote and James sent me all the relevant info. The appt only took a few hours, and a few days after the mitigation system was installed our radon level was reading below 1 pCi/L, which is excellent. Chris is personable, extremely knowledgeable and fully explained every issue which needed immediate attention, or anything that should be corrected, but not critical. Have purchased three homes during my lifetime(this being my last) and can say Chris is by far the most comprehensive inspector I have dealt with. All items documented and sent via PDF (with pictures). Due to Chris's thoroughness, estimates totaled $8,000 (mainly roof and electrical) of which I forwarded a copy to the seller resulting in $4000 being paid via seller at closing.
