BOTH drivers tried to charge us more than quoted price, for different reasons. Other eviews show this is not unusual. First, claimed quote was for T5 not T3. Second claimed price to be £28 (not £22) as this was the hotels price. (I booked direct!). Both seemed unaware of the quotes I had in writing however both accepted the price quoted in fact neither driver seemed that surprised to have been "undercut" by the office. On querying with company they first ignored me then replied to a chaser saying "on this occasion" exceptionally the drivers had not been given the quote! Hmmm......... So that's 2/2 then, I say what a shame for this to mar an otherwise good service. BEWARE of this tactic and stick to your quote, as apart from this is a good service.

When I called the office to complain I was blamed for not specifically requesting air conditioning and the lady actually said I could have taken the train!! As a student I'm used to being ripped off or belittled but Gemini drivers are always professional, fair and friendly. The phone calls are quick and simple with the operator always chirpy and helpful no matter what time I ring up (sometimes 4am - I couldn't be that happy working at 4am!). Often the journeys I take are with many people so require many stops, but unlike other taxi firms the drivers never seem annoyed and know the area so well that it doesn't present a problem. If I'm travelling alone I still feel safe, which as a young female is rare. What most impressed me, however, is that when we hired a few of their taxis to take us to the station for a night out, the driver insisted very politely that we all put our seatbelts on before he moved off. I found that unbelievably safe and assuring.

You'll find shops for apparel and accessories, fragrance, jewelry, and even cigars. There's also a number of eateries, coffee shops, and a pretty little milk tea/boba cafe. We browsed around for a bit, but mostly went there to check out the pretty milk tea shop which was surprisingly tasty! The decor was lovely as well and I can still taste that wonderful cheese tea topping. Overall, it's a nice, quick stop while in Windsor. They do close quite early at 6pm (except on Sundays, they close at 5pm), so plan accordingly.

I'll assume that it's the whole thing. The train side of the whole thing is, as I said, just one track. The train goes into the nearby town/city of Slough. And I'm pretty sure that is the only place that it goes. From there you change trains for other destinations such as London in one direction and Reading in another. There is also another train station that is about a 10-15 minute walk from this one though and I caught that train the other day to Twickenham (London) to see the rugby. Overall, it's a nice old-y world-y comfortable feeling that the place gives you. You can shop at the outdoor (really indoor) market stall or have a cup of coffee or even a really good meal at one of the cafes and/or restaurants. Obviously a great place to be when its raining outside.

After 40 minutes of waiting at the train station and looking for the driver, I took another taxi. During my ride on the other taxi, the owner of Green Star Cars texted me claiming that his driver had arrived at the train station on time and waited for me for an hour before leaving without me. I asked whether his driver had displayed a sign with my name or my company name, he replied no. I asked him why he had not called me sooner and he claimed his calls were not going through. I asked him why he had not texted me instead and he said he had tried but the texts were not going through either. He then said that he planned on getting paid for the trip his driver had supposedly made, Up to this point, I have never had problems with drivers scheduled to pick me up. The lies this company will tell you and the lack of responsibility that they will show are as bad as their unreliability and unprofessional behavior. Avoid this company.

My husband checked his email and after getting an acceptance confirmation there was another email at 03:13 to say it was cancelled. When I called I was told they shouldn't have accepted the order and was offered no apology. Absolutely disgusting service that could have resulted in us missing our flight. Don't waste your time with this service. Oh and they have still to refund us our £39 for the cancelled taxi.
