To start, she will visibly be off-put if you do not speak fluent Spanish. Then, after telling her how you'd like your hair cut, she will disagree with you and try to change your mind. If you insist on having your cut the way that you'd like it, she will, very begrudgingly, proceed. Both my son and I asked her a "rounded" back. Both times she clearly wanted to do a "straight" back. After telling her multiple times to please do the rounded back, she still did it straight and then got upset when asked to correct it to a rounded back. My son has had very nice experiences with other stylists here. We just recommend against the Lupe experience.
