My favorite part of my first ever Five Guys experience was the fries. They are thick cut but not quite steak fries. They are skins-on, beautifully fried, and delightfully salted. And, you get a LOT of them. Potato sack decor is quite appropriate for this french fry shrine. My not-so-favorite part of this experience was when my little guy saw the community peanut bin. He excitedly asked if he could have some, which I just as excitedly responded: "no." A minute later I turned to find hubs gleefully filling a cardboard boat with peanuts from said petri bin. The burgers are big. I ordered a regular cheeseburger thinking that it would be a single patty but it was two quarter pound patties. That half pound of meat was a lot. Tasty though. I asked for light hot sauce. It. Was. Everywhere. I've included a photo. Messy as all get out. But delicious for a burger just the same. The milkshake was thick and delicious. The employee who took our order said that the milkshakes were the best around so I had to get one. Chocolate. It was quite tasty. There are plenty of milkshake choices including malted milk, salted caramel, strawberry, and more. Outdoor seating with umbrellas topped off the experience which was overall reasonably decent. read more

Ordered lunch on the app for 4 People, App said 9-14 Minutes. Got there in about 10. App Said to check in when there and they'll confirm the order when ready. We walked into a pretty empty restaurant with about 4 or 5 workers behind the counter. About 5 minutes later the App said my order was ready, I approach the pick up counter and stand there and stand there and have to ask for my order, give my name and am told "we're waiting on the fries" , now its been about 5 minutes since the App said my order is completed.....and I can see our food bags sitting there with the rest of the order, I end up waiting another 5 minutes or so before the fries are ready, by which point I bite into my burger and it's luke warm at best. So about 10 minutes after the app is telling me my order is ready my order was actually ready, no apology, looks like organized chaos with the food pickup system. The place is clean, food came quick, they cut their fries freshly here, they don't freeze food, they have good seasoning on fries, the employees are smiling, in my opinion better than in and out, which is overhyped, one minor flaw though, not heavy enough with the ketchup on their burgers, overall a great place to eat. read more

This was SO worth the wait! I'm from Long Island, which is full of Five Guys locations, yet I've never stepped foot inside any of the restaurants. I'm a huge burger fan too, so I was impressed when I heard that their meat is never frozen. My friend wanted to grab lunch there, so I went with her so I'd give it a chance. YUM First, the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. There are plenty of seats and they keep the restaurant clean. The workers behind the counter are kind and it seemed like they were having fun working. I liked how they put on the toppings for you, all at no extra charge. While waiting, I was able to grab some peanuts (no charge), which I thought was really neat. I'm not sure if only the nearby locations do this or if it's at every location, but it's definitely a good side to have if you don't want any fries. There's also a brand new self-serve soft drink machine with numerous options. After about 5 minutes, my order was ready, and the bag was nice and warm! The double cheeseburger was DELICIOUS and juicy. It wasn't messy either (some burgers can fall apart very easily) and the buns were warm. The fries were lightly seasoned and hot; who could ask for more? It was definitely the best lunch I've had in a while. Also, my entire meal was under $12, and I feel I got my money's worth. I think the next time I visit this Five Guys, it will be during dinnertime; I know I won't leave the place hungry! :D read more

OMG!!! Best burgers? You have got to be kidding! Worst burger ever! The grilled mushrooms IMO are nothing more then canned mushrooms! Yuck! $17 for 2 very thin bland tasting burgers, one fries and one drink... So not worth it! Go to Burger King instead, you know what you are paying for there! read more

Unfortunately, Erie isn't much of a city for the burger lover. When I want a burger, I generally cook my own... but with that said, I love me some Five Guys and probably consider it one of the better places to get a burger in Erie. Great burgers, tasty toppings, friendly service. read more

My first time in and I was not impressed. The burger tasted average and is way overpriced. It also looked like someone had sat on it, literally smashed flat bun. I'm not sure if this was a joke or not. The fries were baggy and limp. I can make better burgers and fries at home. As a matter of fact the cheapo burgers at Steak and Shake are better than this. It cost me $14.07 for a double cheeseburger, small fry and regular soda. That would have been over $50.00 if my family had been with me for lunch. For hamburgers and fries!? The following weekend I fed my family of four Kentucky Fried for $22.00 (take home 8 piece bucket, 2 large sides and 4 biscuits) and had food left over. That being said the only redeeming things were a friendly staff member at the register, a clean restaurant and good music. This is probably the cleanest, most friendly Five Guys I've ever been in. Anyone who knows me knows I love me some Five Guys Burgers and Fries, mainly for their attention to food allergies. They use very pure ingredients, change gloves when you alert them to your allergy, and make sure your food is fresh. They use peanut oil in the fryers, which makes the fries extra crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. Obviously, for those of you with peanut allergies, steer clear of this place. They also have peanuts out in boxes to eat while you wait for your food. Because everything is made to order (including the fries!), you may have to wait 10 minutes for your food. My family and I were in Erie and looking for somewhere new to eat. We found these guys on Yelp and we're not disappointed. The little burgers are the perfect size for kids, and the fresh cut fries are a must. I went with a bacon cheeseburger w/everything. It was fantastic although the poor bun just couldn't hold it all.
