We loved staying at this RV park! Had a great site, easy set-up and probably the most level site we have ever stayed on. We enjoyed walking around the park, looking at all the quirky things here and there. And, BTW, I think all the vintage vehicles still run and most are moved around periodically (the two firetrucks, especially). The host, Rusty, was great - very helpful and friendly. There are also two good-sized dog parks on site, and we took advantage of them with our two pups. Everything in the park was neat and well-maintained. We are looking forward to visiting there again! read more

Five Flags RV park is clean, quiet and reasonable. It may be hard to get in on your first try but well worth it. With whimsical decorations throughout the park it is pleasant to just walk around or walk your dog. The staff is professional and courteous and always smiling. This place is great! I'm sad that we only stayed here briefly on an overnight visit. When I first looked it up on Google, I wasn't sure if it would be a fit for us because my first impression was that it looked like a park for partiers and that's definitely not us, lol. But, as I investigated further, I realized that the park is just kitschy, which I like. While we were on the road, I called ahead to make a reservation. Registration and payment was handled over the phone. Since we would be arriving after the park office closed, I was told our welcome packet with instructions would be waiting for us in a glass case by the office door. Our pull through site was huge, immaculate, and decorated in such a cute way. There was an antique car on the grassy front corner of our space and our picnic bench included a colorful popup umbrella. About fifty feet away sat two antique trolleys that have been repurposed into laundry facilities. There is a bench outside with a checkerboard to help pass the time and you will also find a few courtesy bicycles in the area if you'd like to cruise around inside the park. There is a really huge communal area near the office under the shade trees where you will find picnic benches, hammocks, beach chairs, a firepit, and a cute old canned ham trailer that has one side cut out of it where a deck adjoins it and tiny chairs have been provided for kids. Also, there are two doors along the park fence line, one leads to a convenience store and the other to Sonny's BBQ. Pretty neat! Stay here if you get the chance! read more

A really nice place. Convenient to "everything" and the staff could not be more friendly, helpful, or attentive. The place is truly a hidden gem; decorated nicely and maintained to a VERY high standard. One feature that nomads like me appreciate is that they have dual water sources at each site: One is for potable drinking water for hooking up to the RV; the other is well water and suitable for car washing, dog washing, etc... This is rare, as most RV parks frown on washing anything on the site. Many (most?) of the sites are occupied with seasonal renters, so it can be tough to get a short-term reservation on short notice. But we were fortunate enough to get to spend a few nights with them. And we look forward to the next time we stop by for a visit! Highly recommended! PS: I gave them six stars, but deducted one because I never was able to get the (free) WiFi to work. But -- get this -- the staff actually came to my rig to help me jiggle the handle or whatever to get it to work. Turned out it was a problem on the ISP side, totally not the park's fault. And I was able to tether my phone to my computer, so it was only a minor annoyance. Still: Five Stars for Five Flags! read more

What a cool place! Very unique like the two trolleys that are laundry rooms. It's obvious the owners take pride. I met the manager, very nice man. I told him that the only thing needed is repair of the dog parks as my little dog could get out. Will go back! Love it here! read more

The ratings on this place are not a fluke, this place is the real deal. First off, location and convenience to food options is excellent. Right off I-10, but not so close you actually hear it. You are 10-15 minutes from just about anywhere you want to go in the Pensacola area. The park looks brand new, even if it isn't, but that says a lot about the folks running it. The decorations around the park are neat as well. The laundry is made from old trolly cars, and I hated that we didn't need to wash clothes because how cool was that. There are bicycles throughout the park you can borrow. Easy gate access to Sonny's BBQ. All sites were spacious and very well maintained. We will definitely be back. read more

I wish they had six stars because this beautiful park deserves it! Great location, very well-maintained, nice landscaping, reasonable rates, and many details to make your stay perfect. Don't miss doing a load of laundry here as the laundromat is in retired trolley buses! Very cool! All sites are full hook up, level, and the gravel roads throughout the park are excellent. Stayed here for 4 days end of October, friendliness place ever, clean sites with concrete pads. We will be back and stay longer next time. Bill is a super host and introduce us to other military in the park. Very clean, love that restaurants were within walking distance, since we didn't have a toad. read more

Great and quiet little park! We will definitely stay here again! If you're not a resort person, like us, this is the place for a short or not so short stay! We opted for this park after viewing their website, looking for a place fairly close to I-10 and in Pensacola. The primary thing that caught our eyes was that they offer discounts for (and are supportive of) police/fire/military and veterans. You can get a daily or weekly 10% discount if you are active duty reserve or retired military, law enforcement or first responder (don't forget your proof of service). They also offer a 10% discount on Good Sam members and other RV clubs. AND if you are a Medal of Honor recipient, you get to stay for FREE! Check them out here: http://www.fiveflagsrvpark.com/ There is no pool, bathhouse or activities area. Simple, roomy, full hook up RV spots with free cable and Wi-Fi. There's an old Drive-In marquee sign on the street to direct you where to turn for the park. Almost thought we had made a wrong turn before we saw it. Whew! We arrived on a very rainy afternoon, and it was still raining as we checked in and hooked up. The park host, Mike W., was most gracious and not only guided us to our site, but insisted on helping us hook up IN THE RAIN. What a sweetie pie! Thanks Mike!!! You are one the reasons we will return to Five Flags!! Most of the park had emptied out the weekend prior to our three night visit in mid-April. We did meet some folks that were permanent to the park and some that were there for a few months about to head on. They all loved it as well. The laundry room is an old trolley car that had been set for destruction. Clean and comfortable. There are two washers and two dryers with seating, magazines, laundry baskets (in case you need to borrow one), fans for when it's warm, and a clipboard to jot down your RV site and how many full loads of laundry you did. Three dollars for a full load (using the washer and dryer or either one twice). Half the price for using only one. Pay on your way out. You just don't see the honor system much these days and it tickles us when we do. BTW, the washer tubs are big; not your average half tub you seen in many laundry rooms. :) There's a 'back door' gate to Sonny's BBQ Restaurant from the park. There's a keypad on the door from the restaurant side so that not just anyone can enter into the park from there. As a tenant, you receive the code to get back in through this locked gate should you desire to walk to the restaurant versus driving. We did and had a very enjoyable dinner one night. There's also Wayne's Family Diner nearby that was really good, also! We ate there twice! Yum!! But that's another review. :) It's an easy drive to the Pensacola Naval Air Museum, which is FREE and a great way to spend a few hours or all day. And did I mention it's free? Yep. F R E E. And, NO, your tax dollars DO NOT pay for it. The museum is built, managed and funded by donations! Way cool! So much to see and learn! We enjoy it every time. Visiting the Naval museum and hoping to catch the Blue Angels practice was our goal for staying in Pensacola. If you haven't been here, it's worth the trip, and to see the marvel of the Blue Angels practicing was fantastic! So, come visit the area and camp at Five Flags RV Park! It's inexpensive, clean, convenient, friendly and super nice folks! Five Flags RV Park is located right off of I-10 and 297 in Pensacola, FL. It's hidden from the main road, so follow directions provided online or via your GPS. AND look for the old style Drive-In sign on Wilde Lake Blvd. That's where you want to turn. read more

Our first time staying at Five Flags Rv ( 2 weeks) and we liked it so much we made a reservation for next year at the same time! The sites are all full hookup and our site had what they had just finished up , a beach type area complete with hammock, sand and all the things you would expect to find on a beach trip including a cooler! It has a deck that had 2 rocking chairs and 2 regular chairs. Best site in the park we think! The people are very friendly and extremely helpful. They have laundry trolley to do your laundry, within walking distance to several restaurants including a Waffle House , Burger King and McDonald's to name a few. They also offer peddle bikes located throughout the park and a few are 3 wheelers with baskets. They DO NOT offer a bathroom/shower. read more

We loved the park the moment we pulled into out site. Very clean and wonderful sized sites. Full hook ups, along with cable TV. The WIFI was great. Very quiet. No pool or activity center, but it is fine with us. And we cannot say enough about how nice the owner and workers are. Happy to say we will be staying there for the entire winter in 2016. All concrete pads and nice picnic tables. If we could have given them more stars we would have. read more

This place is AWESOME! The park is conveniently located off the I-10. Its clean and very well maintained. They have an on site laundry built into Trolley cars. If you couldn't bring your bike the park has bikes free to borrow for your enjoyment. There are several restaurants around the campground like Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday, Sonnys BBQ and McDonald's and Hardees. Hardees sucks btw! And free WiFi! What more can you ask for! Love this park! The day we arrived we were exhausted. Nick and Bill had us parked and fully hooked up within 15 minutes of our arrival. There is only one other park that I have been to that does this (and they are about 9 hours away). We travel in our Fifth wheel five months out of every year so we have been to many parks. I am changing all my reservations for next year so I can come back to the RV Park. It's clean, inviting and has a family atmosphere. I highly recommend this park. read more
