Your bag is searched and footage is reviewed that you did nothing wrong, but it makes you feel like a criminal. The prices are much higher than other stores when their items are not on "sale" and I wouldn't have as much of a problem paying it if they got actual kiosks that worked and didn't make me feel like a thief from their ridiculous announcements from their cheap kiosks.

He, nick, came over and immediately admitted their signage placement was the problem, store had problems like this, and refunded the 1 pack I was due. Larger issue is that employees immediately took up wacky, contradictory positions to defend the sale sign to the point of simply making up contradictory nonsensical arguments - all instead of simply viewing it as a customer and admitting the store's mistake. I use them much less often now with healthier choices that I cannot find there. This was my first time at this Food Lion in the Williamsburg Premium Outlets. Yeah, that's weird I thought, but they are connected by landlord. No issues with parking and the lot was clean. I needed a produce run and did not want to run around town, so convenience won out. I've never been a fan of Food Lion produce and my visit was mixed. An incredible deal on a large container of non organic strawberries for $3.99, that's $3 off...whoah! The organic looked poor and was $5.99 for a regular size. The organic raspberries had mold on them. The organic blueberries were meh, price fair. Bananas @ .50 a pound was a pass. The produce area is a sad looking place. Checkout was very friendly and saved the visit, well along with the strawberries deal. I'm just not into Food Lion, but a 3 is appropriate.

We've been thinking about moving to Williamsburg, but after that experience, I'm not too impressed--outside of Colonial Williamsburg, that is. If you haven't been, Colonial Williamsburg is a must-see and should definitely be on your bucket list. It's great for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teens. And don't forget to get the tri-tickets so you can check out Yorktown and Jamestown too--they're amazing!

As I searched for the right cut and weight of chicken in the meat department, two employees working there just flat out ignored me. I also needed a piece of fresh fish, but the Seafood counter looks ghastly, there's no way I'd get fresh seafood from here. But the worst part, on a SATURDAY, there was one cashier open and everything else was Self-Checkout. Bizarrely, all the manned cashier lanes say they are express (12 items). So fine I'll check out my entire shopping cart myself. There's too much superior competition in this area to ever return to Food Lion.
