But despite all the great products, there was nothing salesy about the trip. She was even kind enough to let me bring in one of my plants for her to look at, to see if it was going to survive being ravaged by my "darling" cat. Just like a lot of folks, over a period of time wasting money on furniture that doesn't last we learned the lesson: Don't go cheap buying furniture that's inexpensively made. It's a better value in the long run to buy household furniture that's made to last! Amelia's has really made us happy with this piece! So much so that we returned and purchased an extremely well made sofa and TV stand. There was an issue with the two delivery guys who wanted twice the agreed price to bring this huge and heavy piece into our home. We paid up; they honestly earned their money ; this was a tough job even for two big delivery guys!
