The straps were too long, she was able to fix those as well and it turned out perfect. She is so nice and very helpful. For the work she did, it was not badly priced. You will need cash. When the guys went in for the 2nd fitting the week of the wedding and discovered the pants were 1-2 inches short they told them nothing could be done. I made a call and then suddenly they would hem them. We rented 15 suits and I paid for them all at once. At pick up time they told me there was a balance because the employee who did the original fitting gave a discount that they didn't approve. That's not my problem. I paid the bill she gave me. After talking to 3 different employees they finally came to the conclusion that I didn't owe anything. I will never rent another suit here. Just a horrible all around experience.

Here's some background: I love Johnny Was. It is my favorite brand. I don't buy it often because it is expensive, but I scour for sales, and I always end up getting 1-2 pieces per year. This year, so far, I have bought four pieces because sales have been insane. I bought an amazing dress on sale from Neiman's online this spring, but it was a full size too big and way too long. I needed several changes: the arms shortened, the whole bottom shortened (but replaced with the original bottom piece because of the way the dress kicks out at the bottom) and it needed to be taken in everywhere. Natalie came to the house, and as she was pinning, I started to realize what an undertaking it would be. The end result is phenomenal. I love it even more than I thought I would. I think my favorite thing is that she added a drawstring so I can tighten it at the waist. Even after spending hours on my dress, she took the time to add a wonderful detail: to the ends of the drawstrings, she added some of the embroidery from what she had taken off. It was some absolutely amazing attention to detail and I was so thankful for the time she put in overall. I found the pricing and turnaround time both incredibly reasonable for what I needed done. I also appreciate Natalie for being so patient with my daughter (an extra extrovert who never gets to see humans anymore). Natalie was so attentive to and patient with her, even though it is not in the job description to dote on wordy four year olds. I know everyone always wants Laura, but Natalie is amazing. I will request her from now on because she is so talented.
