Their truffles looked beautiful, so I decided to order a small box to go. I got carrot cake, dark champagne, s'mores, and peanut butter chocolate (that wasn't the name, but the flavor profile is like Reese's). I haven't tried them yet, but they look and smell good, and I know they'll be excellent. All the while, I had excellent conversation with the staff there -- I didn't catch her name though. Now it is beautifully remodeled, with a cafe on the first floor and workspace on the 2nd (wish I knew about that last month when my a/c died!) Anyway, I got an iced tea (freshly brewed, not that pre made stuff) where you can customize it to your sweetness level with simple syrup, agave, or honey at a little station near the counter. I also got a watermelon salad, which looked to be watermelon chunks, spinach, feta, roasted pistachios, and cucumber with a sweet/tart vinaigrette. Absolutely phenomenal. The interior is part gift shop, with a nice arrangement of things for sale such as baskets from Senegal, homemade soaps, art and jewelry. Oh and they offer ice cream! How can you beat it! They had everything from furniture, house decor, clothing, and books here. Some items were very high priced and others very reasonable. So a nice mixed bag here. Overall we had a good time browsing even though on this particular trip we did not make a purchase. Rather large store and looked like one worker who was busy working behind the counter but in our brief encounter he seemed pretty nice and friendly. Overall cool shop that's very unique.

Some of the items are not for sale, having been handmade by a store associate to make their customers smile. Prices are fair and aligned with other sources. They do allow you to try on items which is nice. Some can be more expensive and you'd want to be certain they fit well. Besides costumes they have a ton of accessories and party themed decor. Parking is a bit tough. There's very limited space next to the building and much of the street parking is metered or a pay lot. Around Halloween it can take a few passes to find an available spot. No food or drinks allowed inside so leave them in the car.
