After her birthday, we decided just to tuck them away in a closet for no real reason. Not sure why we didn't just throw them away. So somebody else's birthday was a couple months later when we realized "hey we got those balloons." So we thought it would be funny to carry them up to party city and get them refilled. We didn't buy anything else. We just asked if they would refill the balloons and they did. And we've been doing that for about three years now with the same balloons! We buy stuff now when we go, but we've always appreciated that they were willing to fill our years old balloons! Great selection, good value and excellent customer service!

They actually have a designated fitting room! While looking, Bruce came to check on me & offered to check another store for an item I was looking for. Also, he was knowledgeable...the item I wanted was signed, but Bruce told me it hasn't come in stock yet. Good customer service really matters! While I didn't find anything to wear tonight, I will go back for future party needs.

The entire store is typically very tidy, clean, well organized, and the restrooms are maintained clean and in sanitary condition. The management and employees are always kind, friendly and helpful. So, I started going back and looking at stores a little bit further out and that's where I came to RACK ROOM IN HICKORY. I called up and spoke with Larry and he looked up the shoe in the computer and then held on the phone with me to go look on the shelf to make sure they had it and it was the right size and color. I was coming from out of town to pick them up so he even took them to the front desk and put my name on it so there would be no problems when I got there. I called back this morning just to be sure since I have had a time finding these, and I spoke with Sarah and she assured me the tennis shoes were there and waiting. At no time, neither Larry or Sarah was ever short, rude or acted like it was a bother. They both were very pleasant and very nice to work with. The employee's here show professionalism and sincerity in helping the customer. That is rare at this day and time. So, I would like to say THANK YOU ( Larry and Sarah) I really appreciate it. It's been a very long time since I've gone into a Barnes & Noble and found exactly what I wanted. I usually find half or less of what I'm looking for so I go to Amazon and order it there. Especially in their graphic novel section. Always random numbers of selections from a series. I find I'm always disappointed when I go to Barnes & Noble and this one is no exception. But it's local and it's nice to go in and browse for my next purchase from amazon.com.
