I love this Ingles for many reasons - they usually have very good produce and meat selections, as…read morewell as knowledgeable and friendly employees. Because I live a half an hour away, I especially love that bagging groceries is separated into blue bags for cold items and brown bags for everything else. That being said, there is one cashier who I avoid like the plague. Her name is Chasady. Today, her lane was the only one open other than self check out. Every time I go in there, she never says one word to me except to say thank you as she hands me my receipt. Today was no different in that respect. Normally, she refuses to use the blue bags, so everything is in a brown bag and I have to search through what I have to know what to put in my cooler bags and what needs to immediately go into the refrigerator or freezer when I get home. Today, I put my cold items on the belt first and if she did not put them in blue bags, I was going to politely ask her to do so. To my surprise, she put them in blue bags! I was ecstatic! Until, she started putting everything in blue bags! She apparently does not understand the concept. I don't normally complain, but this has just been an ongoing issue for the past several months! She is never friendly and does not know how to bag groceries and then, it is the customer's job apparently to put them from the loading area into the cart, no matter how many she has stacked onto the loading area. OK, rant over. Everything else is great at this Ingles Market.

I have a kid mind u she's very small for her age shy and 11 years old…read more She was trying on a shoe and saw that other shoes have 2 in the box so she saw a box of that size and shoe and wanted to see if somone misplaced it. She saw no it was the same foot so she started to put it back in its original box and put it back . When a worker came up to her and started yelling at her to put it back and all of this stuff. Her as a shy kid was being silent and she was getting yelled at. Then we went to check out to pay and the worker would barely talk and gave us bad faces. Would not recommend expensive low quality low selection shoes. There customer service or just human decency to not yell at a child upsered find a new job or reconsider life choices

If I could go lower, I would. This store has major problems, and their names are Jessica and Anita…read more They treat some employees really horribly. They refuse to train the newest key holder, make threats to her and claim they are going by the books. The place is very hostile to this one person inparticuler making her feel very unwanted, unappreciated, feeling very much abused. They talk about her to other employees, to the sales associates, telling them not to listen to anything she says when she is the keyholder for her shift, telling the associates that she does not like anyone so not to listen to her. They brought her in and told her about some bag check rule that not one other associate or keyhole had ever heard of, making her feel like they were trying to set her up for theft. When she asked about this rule, as in who would do these bag searches, when would they do them, would they go thru her bags without her knowing or being there, Jessica called corporate, Matt I believe, and told them that they had an employee who was questioning this rule because she had a problem with it, making her look bad when that is not what she was doing at all. They told her she needed to lock her phone up, but wouldn't even tell her which key was used to do this very thing, which by the way should show that they didn't bother to train her after months of being a key holder she didn't even know what key unlocked what. They schedule her without a second keyhole so she could not take a break or a lunch, yet they dock her for lunch break. The actual law in Tennessee says every employees has to provide a 30 min unpaid lunch break and if they do not they are to pay and extra hour to this employee, so your company absolutely owes her money for all the lunches she was not allowed to take. It is a really sad situation at this location, for this keyhole really has enjoyed the 2 years she has worked there until these two woman, Jessica and Anita have started their antics against her, it is so bad that other associates have told her that she is being treated wrongly, that these two woman talk about her to them, and they are upset by it. This key holder has been forced to walk away from your company because of the work place bullying and the hostile environment she has been experiencing. I happen to be the mother to this key holder and I have had to watch her have severe anxiety at the thought of going to work everyday, seen her cry over the treatment, heard the horror stories of these two woman ganging up on her. I personally told her to hire an attorney and go after your company for having such a hostile work environment for cheating her a lunch break and not paying the extra hour she should get. But she is so stressed out that she just wanted to find another job and get away from these two. It truely is very sad, because shebhas been there and worked hard for you, and nobody had issue with her until these two ladies. And we'll Anita isn't even qualified for her position, she still can't even make a full 2 week work schedule for her employees, she was given the job because she claimed senority over the girl that was literally hired and was being trained for that exact position, so they did that girl dirty too and get by with it. It is disgusting! I have a feeling you are going to lose more employees at this store because of these two and their dirty behavior! You really need to do something about them and you really need to make it right with Chelsey!!!
