As a long term sufferer of TMJ, I am well used to encountering dentists that fail to understand the complexities of this condition mainly due to the fact that it is a grey area between the medical and the dental professions. Not so with Dr. Barry, not only does he have a working knowledge of TMJ, he also has a sympathetic ear and I found him to be very thorough. After being correctly provided with a pan-oral x ray, Dr. Barry did his utmost to get to the root of the problem (no pun intended) and after a detailed explanation of the images, it was found that the pain was most probably a result of my TMJ. I waited two weeks for an appointment which wasn't too bad. The office is located about 5 minutes from the top of Camden street and inside an old Georgian house. The reception is located on the bottom floor and I was greeted by two very friendly receptionist. Filled out a quick form and was right on time to meet with Dr. Ed. Being honest I was actually taken aback by Dr. Ed's friendliness. You can tell that his patients are very important to him and he took genuine interest in myself. He was quick and precise but at no point did I feel rushed. I definitely felt he knew what he was talking about. I was then moved along to the Hygienist who again I felt very comfortable with. I got front upper tooth zirconium crown done for €500. Where few other dentist offered to get the job done for €700-800 and only for metal crown. Zirconium usually is €100 more. I liked the German dentist, who also made one filling. They have pen camera, so you can see live view of your teeth on the monitor. General service is quite lovely. Nurse was doing best job I've ever seen. Jumping around every minute or so and checking on the drain tube. Dentist was also very gentle and king to explain what was necessary to be done and what could wait. They even asked, if I'm flying back home (Lithuania), as it would be much cheaper to get my teeth fixed. Can you believe that? So honest. On a downside, the place (don't be confused with the medical equipment) is a bit crumbling. Waiting lobby is cold and small, nothing comfy. You might end up waiting for half hour or so. Be patient.

She is great and listens to my feedback with what I want and am looking for throughout my treatment. Every time I call the office, whomever is on the other end always recognises my voice and starts chatting with me. In the SCR clinic you will always get the same dentist or dental hygienist if you are a patient. I would rate them as 5 stars or if grading them would give them an A( in other words greater than 85 percent -"good"). They are a ,"top drawer establishment ", and would tell anyone who is a nervous patient or has had a bad experience in the past that this is where to go. 5 stars. You will not get better easily and everyone who I spoke to while waiting had only good words to speak of them.
