History
Established in 2000.
Fitzroy Physiotherapy Prospect is an independent and locally owned and operated Physiotherapy practice. This allows us to really emphasise the personal treatment approach needed for your physiotherapy care.
We initially opened to provide an integrated care team and support to the adjacent Medical Clinic. Since then we have grown to have 4 fantastic physiotherapists that will help you to move better and feel better.
With over 15 years of experience we have a distinct understanding of injuries and conditions which we combine with the latest evidence to provide the most effective treatment for you if and when you need it.
Located just 5 minutes out of the city at 40 Prospect Road, we are convenient, have great on site parking and easy ground level access.
We deliver to you the highest quality care, accurate evaluation, skilled manual therapy, tailored exercise programs and most importantly patient education to not only our local residents but the wider community of Adelaide.
Meet the Business Owner: Sara H.
Sara graduated as a physiotherapist from The University of South Australia. After working in the Public Hospital System and overseas she entered a busy sports private practice for a number of years before completing the Advanced Diploma in Manipulative Therapy. She went on to further complete the Masters Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of SA.
Sara initially established the Hindmarsh Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic at Hindmarsh then a second practice was also established at Prospect to provide caring and experienced Allied Health care to the people of Prospect, adjacent to the Fitzroy Medical Centre.
