After I opened the box, the bracelets were a different color than the watch, and not only that, the whole set of bracelets was a mix of colors. A terrible disappointment. €330 for a watch with bracelets of a different colour is simply unacceptable

I only found out the headphone jack was dodgy 3/4 weeks after I bought it as It was sitting in my room waiting for a new sim card. He completely used this fact against me, the first thing he said when I presented the issue is "you broke it". He refused to fix it for free and insisted It was working before I purchased it. Clearly, the test procedure failed and he wouldn't admit it. The customer before me was similarly upset as he refused to repair his second hand purchase for free also. If you are going to purchase an item from this store prepare for an unpleasant transaction if anything goes amiss and take the "warranty" with a grain of salt.

I went into the Funtech in Blackpool shopping center two months ago, on the 28th of May, to get my…read moreiPhone 5 repaired after the screen was broken. I never had any issues with the phone whatsoever previously. When the phone came out of Funtech, the guy who repaired skimmed over the fact that air has gotten into the battery. I went home and everything was fine for a month. Then the battery started getting extremely hot and swelling. It started popping the screen off and messing with the volume buttons. I went into the store in Douglas and the young girl who was working there was the most obnoxious little shit I've ever met. When I told her that I was bringing it in before, she asked why not before. Because they were no issues for a month and the other times, I was working shift work. She started laughing and scoffing, saying that it's 'my problem now' and that I should have 'made the effort' to come in sooner even though I was working shift, Monday to Saturday. I then went into the Blackpool one, said nothing, got some information and got a copy of my receipt. I called a number they gave me, and they told me they weren't responsible for the battery either, even though other repair stores and Apple themselves told me it was their fault. They let air into the battery. He kept refusing that it was their fault, that I should have read the terms and conditions. I had limited time to come back to check it, the terms and conditions on the back say 3 months to return. He changed his story then and said that was for the screen only. Every time he said something that was 'proof' that it wasn't their fault, I would challenge it with what I was told from Funtech themselves or from the T&Cs. He straight up refused to listen to me, kept talking over while saying 'Can I speak?' even though he was repeating the same line over and over. Then he hung up on me. I know that it is only about 25.00 to repair the battery on my phone, but I do not believe that I should be paying it. My phone was damaged while in their care. If I brought my laptop to a repair center with a broken screen, and it came back with a fixed screen but a broken keypad, that is the repair shop's responsibility. It was damaged while in their care and usually they should repair it without question. Another reason why I don't want to repair the battery with them, is because they will probably fuck something else up and claim it's not their fault. I knew this shop was sketchy before, considering that they buy equipment off of eBay for a third of the price that they sell them to their customers. They're always awfully rude and condescending and will not help you unless you're buying something off of them. Stay away from this money grabbing store, just buy what you want from there on eBay.

Vodafone is one of the biggest companies in the business and their point of contact in their Patrick Street/Winthrop Street shop made a good impression on me. Racing through the rain one evening, I dropped my phone and couldn't get it back on, couldn't get past the signing on code. Called to Patrick Street where the efficient lady on duty checked it out and quickly realised that the fall on the road had finished the phone. Mine is part of a group so she checked the status, and saw I was due an upgrade. She checked with the group controller, helped switch over my info and, within twenty minutes of coming in, I left a happy customer with a new phone well secured in my pocket.
