Shane is the real deal! I met Shane in 2011 and have been working with him since. I lost over 60…read morelbs working with him. Aside from Shane, I would say I have worked with over 5 different trainers in my life. I felt most were unprofessional, they would show off and would even get distracted by other members (some would even flirt on my dime!). Also, I constantly felt like they just wanted to keep selling me sessions, even when I clearly had more than enough remaining. I never liked working with trainers. Shane is different. Shane is truly a genuine person. He's not trying to con you or constantly trying to sell you sessions. He helped address my hesitation of working out in front of others. He really took the time to learn more about me and my interests and how we could incorporate new things into our workouts. For example, I have always been interested in boxing and MMA, Shane would have days where the plan revolved around boxing and related movements (boxing is a great cardio option!!) But more importantly, he really understands and is a master in the field. If Shane wanted to, he could show you how to lose 15lbs in a week using some cheap tricks which aren't sustainable. Unfortunately there are many "shortcuts " in the health and fitness world that can be exploited. But that's not what he does. He takes pride in permanent and real results. His priorities and intentions were clear, he wanted to ensure things were being done and followed through the right way. The healthy way. Shane would customize and plan out the workouts ahead of time so that I knew what to expect for the coming sessions. We would target certain parts of the body on different days and even had accompanying nutrition plans. With Shane I learned that eating certain things on certain days really makes a difference on the results. After losing around 60lbs with Shane's guidance, I really got to the point where I felt comfortable working out alone and coming up with plans for myself based on what I learned and picked up from him. Even then, Shane continued to monitor my progress and continued to be supportive. I have been able to keep the weight off and continue to work on my fitness and a big part, if not the biggest, has been all of the support Shane has provided. I truly am thankful for all that Shane has done for me. I am excited for Shane and Jaret as I really believe Colosseum Fitness will be a great contribution to the community. Knowing both Shane and Jaret, I know they will help a lot of people reach their goals and go beyond what they were expecting. Definitely give them a try, you won't regret it!

nytime I've paid for a service I'd hear, "be careful! They won't care about you because at the end…read moreof day, they got their money." This is true in many cases, however, it's far from the truth at Tailor Made Bodies. Aaron changed my life completely! At first, I was worried about becoming codependent on someone to motivate me to work out. I was worried that I'd only feel encouraged to work out with him and I'd walk out of the studio not caring as much without his presence! This was so false! Since day one with Aaron, I'd walk out of the studio excited to do more on my own and that's the goal here-- to guide you into becoming self-sufficient. I was a little too excited actually, so much so that I was eager to bite off more than I can chew at times and that's coming from someone who was intimidated. I came across TMB, while researching, during a plateau in my weight loss journey after a major surgery. My friends told me the gym would help with my plateau, but I didn't know a single thing about the gym outside of the treadmill. Cardio was already the only workout I was doing at the time, I feared people judging me at the gym due to how I felt about my lack of knowledge, and I even judged myself when I would work out alone at home because I had no clue what I was doing so I wouldn't be consistent due to private embarrassment haha. Thanks to Aaron, I'm super comfortable and familiar with equipment and no-equipment workouts! I go to the gym with confidence and when I work out at home, I don't feel like a clown in my own company (haha)! In addition, I've reached my weight loss goals AND I've been maintaining it for such a long time without now! Lastly, CHARACTER. It is so important to me to mention the character of my trainer. Aaron didn't only care about me as a client, but he cared about me as a person. It's important because realistically our personal lives do impact everything we do and in life we won't always be the non-stop working machines we want to be. Everybody has their setbacks because life throws curveballs. He's offered an ear, taught me how to normalize those days, and taught me how to pick myself up to maintain consistency again! My goal was to lose weight so I can throw myself back into the world after quarantining for so long and be the best version of myself. As of now, I feel like I got my life back. Thank you so much!

So I was traveling in January and I heard a lot about this place online…read more A friend of mine invited me to join him and I met up with Joe, one of the trainers there. This place is AMAZING! The environment is great for newbies, and for folks like me that have not worked out in a while. Let's just say, the best tip I got going into it was this: "Pace yourself." So the workout was a circuit, and it was a full body workout. 3 sets, with 3-4 workout per set done as a circuit. Some new folks kill themselves by using too much weight on the first set and cannot keep up at the end. By the 2nd set I was starting to slow down: I was not conditioned at all but at least I paced myself. But Joe was extremely encouraging and helped with fixing my form for the different workouts I wasn't used to. The facility is tucked in the business complex so you have to drive deep into it. The place is clean, the music is awesome, the bathroom is clean, there's towels (for sweat, not for showering), and the equipment all work and in very good condition and are clean! I highly recommend this place because of the trainers who are awesome, and because the environment is very supportive. Viz. one woman was there in her 40s and she was trying her best, some of the girls cheered her on, and Joe was encouraging her and adjusting her workouts based on her fitness level. Definitely check them out since this place gives results! I don't know if they have drop-in rates to do the classes whilst traveling but just ask them! Note: They also do your measurements to see your progress!
