Great space and super clean! Jess was a great instructor. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Left a note on the desk for someone to please call me to cancel my membership over the phone as I made an attempt to do it in person but was unable to. I haven't heard from anyone. Called this morning, let the phone ring for 5 min. No answer. This place is ridiculous.

Nor is there a manager or even an acting manager on duty . . . EVER! Everything is handled by "corporate," which translates to, "We don't care about the wellness of our members. We care about numbers and money. Work out at your own discretion . . . and, make sure to have a healthy day!" Customer service is NOT factored into the ESporta Springfield gym. * I could understand if the employees were busy cleaning the restrooms or wiping down equipment, but that's not evident either. The restrooms have a pungent weed and urine stench. So... where are the employees? Hmmm. * I find it oddly interesting that employees (mostly male employees) are in the women's locker rooms during the 5:00--6:00 time. Wouldn't it be better to get the cleaning done at lower volume times when women aren't changing their clothes . . . mid-afternoon maybe? When I speak of employees, please know that I am in NO WAY referring to instructors. The instructors, especially Jill H. (Yoga), Jill C. (Body Works Plus Abs), and Vidya E. (Aqua Fit) are outstanding! Regina, who taught the aqua classes for years, was incredible as well! Although I was not a member at the time, several members sing Regina's praises frequently. Such a loss that she moved on. * The women's sauna has been out of service for at least three months! Word around the gym is that a part has been ordered. Some guests were given a date of January 24th for the sauna to be usable. Others have heard that ESporta has no intention of getting the sauna back into working order. Maybe that promised date of January 24th is correct, but the year wasn't specified as 2025??? * The temperature of the pool is too cold! Complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Employees give members the tired excuse over and over, "We aren't authorized to check the temperature of the pool." If they can't perform a task as simple as that, how can members trust that the chemicals are properly balanced? Just this evening, three members and the instructor walked into the membership area in our bathing suits to ask for assistance. Instead of coming to test the water, the employee claimed that he would "shut the pool down!" Please explain how someone who isn't authorized to check the pool's temperature, has the authority to shut the pool down??? * Come on, ESporta Springfield! You could have a top notch facility without a doubt. In fact, it WAS a top notch facility until the last year. Why not make it YOUR New Year's resolution (for 2025) to get your gym back in shape?

I also checked out another gym that had a sauna but limited hours and the price was higher. Peace, Love and Sweat is the perfect answer to my problem! I visited on a quiet Sunday morning and was very impressed with the clean aesthetic and attentive staff. Even though my reservation got lost in cyberspace the young lady at the front desk was able to free me in right away, explained the available options and benefits, she even helped me set up my Bluetooth so I could listen to my sound bath tunes. The vibes from beginning to end were immaculate! Highly recommend. Especially for those of us who are transplants to Illinois. If you're seeking a warm, rejuvenating safe space you should definitely check out Peace, Love and Sweat!!!

The first time I saw this place, I was intrigued. I didn't have time to pop in, so I did the next best thing and visited the website. I looked over the home section to get the details and then entered the "events" page to find this: "Peace, Love and Sweat was created with a vision. We wanted a space where we could host, educate, and celebrate!" Funny you should say that...I know a certain someone planning a surprise 40th birthday. The owner was amazingly accommodating (poor Ann had to deal with me, my brother-in-law, and my mom)! The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process (THANK YOU)! Party Details: 1.) 25-30 guests 2.) The front desk doubles as the food and beverage area. The owner allowed us to bring in catered food and our own sweet treats. 3.) Plenty of seating options: golden stools, velvety green couch, modern wicker chairs, glass and marble occasional tables, beautiful plants, etc. 4.) The space was cozy, nicely lit (chandeliers anyone?), and extraordinary clean! 5.) Amy, the owner's sis, was available on location during the party. She was available yet incognito so we could enjoy the party. Side note: She showed me a little place in their back room with where the kids could play. My daughter was the only kiddo, but she really loved that option! Clearly, I could go on! I did not go into much detail about the services they offer; as I figured it was more appropriate to do that on my own time and not party time. Nevertheless, I do know the health benefits are wonderful and there's a massage therapist in staff! Plus, if you're in the beauty/health industry, stop by because there could be an opportunity for you here too! Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your beautiful location with us!

Molly, with her wealth of knowledge in fittness customizes workouts, so you are challenged, but are not injured. She also wrote, at home, work out programs for me which are great for inbetween training sessions. Molly has a nutriention program available as well. I got a sample of it in her women's retreat last weekend. I went into the retreat fighting winter blues, and left feeling refreshed. I'd recommend it if she has another one. There are several trainers here, and so far I've worked with Tim, Molly, and Caroline. They each have different training styles, but they are all excellent, kind, and will push you to do your best. It's a bit intimidating to come in here at first as someone who is incredibly out of shape, because the place feels exceptionally hardcore when you walk in. Most of the people there are already in incredible shape, the equipment looks intense and a bit scary, and the music is loud and tough. However, after just a few minutes in here you'll find all of the members are very welcoming. Everyone had to start somewhere, and the members seem legitimately glad you're there. They have "on ramp" classes for the inexperienced in order to teach you all of the moves and the proper form for everything so you don't get hurt. Although I haven't been coming here long, there is a great sense of community and a great resource for getting into prime shape. I look forward to many more workouts here!
