Walter and Judy are amazing instructors, and incredibly talented dancers. They explained every step and made even the most daunting dance steps attainable. Our private lessons were filled with information, and at the same time were fun and very laid back. We took a number of group classes and attended social dances as well. Walter and Judy also taught us a dance routine for our wedding, which we proudly showed off with ease, along with all the other dance styles we had learned from them. If we hadn't moved away we would still take lessons today! I can't say enough good things about Two Step Tidewater. We not only learned dance steps and styles, but learned how to have fun while dancing with each other and in a social setting.

They will teach you all styles, from Latin to Ballroom to Hustle. They are very patient and demonstrate every step. Group lessons are also great, everyone gets an equal chance for dancing and improvement. They also offer social dance parties once a week, which is a great way to work on what you've learned. Highly recommended!!!!

I beg your pardon, my granddaughter was registered well in advance to the start of this class…read more Then, the class was postponed a week later than we were scheduled. (For that, I received a phone call.) My daughter did not just "drop in" to the studio. I am positive that you do not have your facts straight as I submitted all requested registration documents through email to your office manager. Finally, I have reached out to you directly, to no avail, other than this yelp review response. If you had returned any of my correspondence, we could have cleared this up with no hard feelings.

The classes I attended were small and all women, we were made to feel very comfortable and told that this was a safe place for us to express ourselves. The dance fitness classes are fun and energetic. The pace is moderate and the teaching style is repetitive. You learn the routine in sections and repeat each section before adding on. By the end of the class you will likely be doing the routine four times in a row to music. I'm thrilled to have found Marquita and her studio, offering classes that make you feel sexy and sensual while becoming fit, toned, and fully comfortable with your wonderful body.

I had the pleasure of attending the annual dance recital of the Turquoise School of Dance at the…read moreSandler Center for the Performing Arts last night. Although I have never personally been to the school or known anyone who has participated, I was blown away by the talent on display. The recital lasted over three hours and featured multiple age groups performing a variety of dance routines, including modern, tap, African, hip-hop, and ballet. The choreography was impressive and the dancers performed with such professionalism that they could easily take their show to other states and countries. I was also impressed with the body representation on stage. Most professional dancers are thin, but the Turquoise School of Dance had dancers of every body type gracefully and energetically performing. While the majority of the dancers were girls and women, there were a few little boys and a male dancer here and there who all did spectacularly. After seeing the performance, I am considering signing up my 13-year-old for classes. I have never seen a dance studio put on a production as professional as this.

I'm doing the 2 week Challenge and waited to at least do my 5th day to really get a feel for hot…read morehouse. What I love about Hot house is that they're more structured and have more information before you get into heated yoga practice. Although an added charge, they have a road map of postures online that you'll be going through and give you insight as well as modifications if you're just starting out, it's great for beginners as well as advanced practitioners that might want to go back and review. Knowing this helped me feel less awkward and to just focus on my postures. The classes are consistent when it comes to poses. Hot house yoga room is organized with dots that you align your mat with and what's great is that they play music while you practice the poses. Beginner = Stability classes More Experienced = Hot Flow Hot house yoga, is and can be spiritual (I mean yoga itself is spiritual), I hear people say that it feels good and yes I get a good runners high at the end but I still feel like a loose noodle and not so much a stiff pretzel (which is a good thing). What I like about doing heated yoga is that it's a life changing (how do they say it...) paradigm shift. The only thing that I can possibly see Hot house improve upon is probably adding a sauna/steam room to quickly acclimate before the class. It's a challenge in the beginning but that's just me because I enjoy winter more. They have Mat and towel rentals. They offer a good line of yoga products which is with Manduka. I've had a Manduka mat and towel for years and they last a long time. The classes are flexible and affordable which is great.

Here's the thing - the studio has a very sophisticated HVAC (heating and air flow/filtering system). I don't think I have found another hot yoga studio that provides that level of air quality during practice. Equally important are the people, the staff who check you in and the yoga instructors. Honestly, someone suggested I try hot yoga and I thought there was no way I'd make it through a class. Now, here we are 2023, and I am still practicing at Hot House Yoga. There are many health benefits when you add hot yoga to your practice. Yoga was transforming for me, and I took it up later in life. Then I tried hot yoga and I am very grateful that I found a clean and beautiful place to practice. Thank you Hot House Yoga. Namaste.
