The pizza choices are more adventurous than many pizza joints I've been to in North America. I was delighted to see (and greatly enjoyed) the vegetarian pizza with artichoke heart on it. (I've gotten into the habit of putting artichoke heart on the pizzas I make at home. They're a vegetable which absolutely works on pizza, and let you swing the balance a little bit away from the fats and carbs extreme, but it's hard to find a pizza joint which offers them.) The shoarma pizza was intriguing, and mostly worked, but felt like it needed something to complete it. (Possibly onions and green peppers?) As a pizza joint should, this place stays open later than most of the other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the non-alcoholic drinks are pretty small. Drinks like Coke, Fanta, mineral water (sparkling or still), or iced tea (which is carbonated) all come in little bottles of 200-250 millilitres (6.8-8.5 ounces). If you want to get in your daily 2 litres of water, you'd definitely need to order multiple drinks, or drink between meals.

A page and a half o fdifferent pizzas, plus pasta dished (I had the salmon pasta, which was very good). Also a couple of pages of main courses, a little more expensive (around €20), with fish and meat. I enjoyed a quiet dinner with good food, unobtrusive service, and a glass of wine, and spent €21 + tip.

My Dutch man has this restaurant on speed dial for those post-skydive nights when we're done with anything needing effort. Pompoen Met Speck is the master of delicious stampot - and vegetarians rejoice - they have an awesome selection of vegetarian options here. The quality is great, the service is fast and friendly and if you go into the small shop (they're takeaway only) you can find a nice selection of high quality snacks and drinks. They have really good stamppot and hutspot, their jus is just perfect too. You can choose the sausage to come in a whole piece or sliced with spekjes. Their soup selection is also great, they never dissapoint and are delicious. The desserts are also good, make sure to get the appeltaart (apple pie)

Both15 and 16 years old. They used to pick up fresh croissants for their parents at the bakery on sunday mornings, and came up with the idea to deliver them to other people too! You go to their website and fill in your order.. you can choose how many croissants you want, if you want freshly squeezed orange juice, and jam and butter. I ordered two croissants with butter and jam and to be ordered on 11:00 on sunday. They arrived around 11:20 (A little bit after I woke up) and it was delivered by the boys! I'm giving it a 3 stars because one the croissants was a bit smashed and because of punctuality. We paid 5 euros this sunday for this little treat and we will be ordering it next week too! Loved it.
