Lovely fish and chips in a sunny day. The food is so fresh and really heartwarming. The ambient in an outdoor seating beside the waters makes the experience more pure. read more

They have some fried delicacies - including fried fish balls (first time for me) and delicious extra crispy fried fish. Not only fried, but they have a nice variety of fresh and smoked fish - we got a huge platter of salmon, whitefish, and other cured/smoked delights - making the entire trip north worth it.

I feel it's important to share my disappointing experience in Torvehallerne at Omegn & Venner…read moreDuring our meal, our belongings were stolen, which severely affected our overall experience. Alarmingly, the staff seemed familiar with the thief/theft, even conversing with him in Roma, and appeared more upset with us for expressing our distress than with the situation itself. To make matters worse, the chef was confrontational and lacked empathy. If my customers were robbed in my establishment, I would be deeply embarrassed and would prioritize assisting them instead of responding aggressively. I was unable to pay for our meal because my device was taken, yet the restaurant insisted on charging us the full price, which we observed another patron pay. They did not contact the police or report the theft. Instead of providing assistance, we were asked to leave while the thief was allowed to walk away, despite three witnesses confirming he was the one responsible. Afterward, we approached the police, who informed us that such treatment of customers is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. I strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choice of restaurant. While the food may be enjoyable, the treatment of customers left much to be desired.

I've never heard anyone complain about the shop or its products, but I myself cannot bring myself to go in, I turn at the door every time. Simply put, a fishmonger shouldn't smell like bad fish. There may be some perfectly innocent explanation for it, but I catch one whiff, and I'm off of fish for the day. Really a shame, too, as this is the fishmonger closest to where I live.

Inside everything is nice organized and also clean. Looks REALLY clean! I love that. I actually got inspired to cook some mussels for tonight's dinner. They looked very nice. So I bought the mussels and the sweet lady gave me a little cook book with it! I decided to follow a recipe from the book /why not/, so I went to the supermarket next door to get all the ingredients. it was amazing! my family loved it. Of course we implemented a nice service with special china and candles :) All of the mussels opened up, which is a sign of good health and freshness. The be only suggestion I have for this place is that they should display the origin of the fish sold. I was a little bit skeptical about some of the fish and knowing more information would have been very helpful (and I may have bought even more!). So if you are looking for some idea for dinner, this truck may help you to decide. Fish is always an good idea here in Denmark. I will be definitely back! Have a nice Yelpy day!!!
We got a cook book with our purchase!

They do have self serve checkout and are good about opening up more check out lanes when busy. Good to check hours as they are usually open even if the mall is closed. (I.e. they were open on the most recent Bank Holiday.). They do have a separate entrance at the back of the mall. Conveniently located close to the train and bus stations, this is the spot for your grocery needs while in Hyllie.

Everything in here reminds me of those giant "hypermarkets" chains that we have in Indonesia. Rows and rows of different vegetables, a huge cool section for meat, their own fishmongers and butchers - and so many different brands and even for people with allergy or just vegans. Swedish supermarkets know to cater them all. My favourite buys from this place? The fresh Asian veggies, the seafood and the cheese in tubes... and oh, the Swedish prepackaged meatballs.
