Did an out of state title transfer, got my plate and registration all in 10 minutes or less. Quick and efficient customer service! It is cash only with an ATM on sight, don't forget to bring your proper documentations! read more

The ladies here are extremely kind and take time to understand your situation and get you set up with what you need as fast as possible. Clearly a super well run family owned business. I will be recommending to all my friends as well! read more

Friendly, family-owned, and informative. I registered my new used car here and they clarified aspects of the process that the sellers didn't. I will do all of my car stuff here from now on. read more

Outstanding and very friendly service. The staff here is very experienced and willing to explain and answer all of your questions. Switching my tag and registration to PA could have been a pain but w Fishtown Auto Tags it was easy. Worth every penny. read more

Great experience, these guys were really easy to work with, very professional and willing to help. they helped me through the out of state transfer process and made it easy. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I cannot possibly recommend this business enough! I was having such a difficult time transferring my title from out of state (I'm talking months - until I found this place), but Fishtown Auto Tags walked me through the process and solved my issue instantly. I am so thankful for their patience, knowledge, and willingness to help. The women who work here are incredibly kind. I am so thankful and will send anyone in need of services their way! read more

The employees refuse to wear masks or enforce masks in store. I walked into this store twice on separate days and both times there were multiple staff behind the counter without masks and customers with masks on their chins, so I walked out before getting what I needed. There are plenty of Auto tag places in the area so ill take my business to a place that actually cares about their customers and public health in general. read more

Came here last week and the two ladies here were super nice and helpful. I called in before coming in and one of them informed me of everything I needed to bring in. It didn't take too long for me to get my car registered and be on my way. Parking could be a pain and remember to bring cash! There is an ATM inside though so if you don't have cash, at least make sure to have your debit card on hand. read more

Great service! I transferred vehicle tags from out of state and the service was professional, and went above and beyond to help me get the conserve wildlife tags I wanted. Excellent! read more

The process for getting my out of state plates changed to Pennsylvania was exceedingly easy. I called ahead to be certain that I had everything (though all this info should be pretty self evident) and I was told exactly what to bring and what the process would entail. Once there, Carol helped me out and she is a real pro! Got my paperwork sorted, my VIN verified, and my new PA plates to me all within, probably less than 15 minutes. It's not crowded there and well kept and tidy. Carol and another fellow were also really helpful in letting me know where to go for legit emissions inspections. Always a pleasure to get good, prompt and friendly service. read more

I've been to a lot of auto tag places. This place is the best. Clean, very neat, extremely responsive and friendly staff. I had a problem with my registration and someone apparently decided to deactivate my license plate. They sorted through the problem in a matter of about two minutes got my car new plates, updated my registration, and even updated my address on my license. Cannot recommend enough. read more

This is a GREAT tag shop. It's clean and bright, and the women who work there are friendly, helpful and efficient. The other tag shops I've used are dingy with surly folks working there - this is the complete opposite. Highly recommended! read more

I can't believe I'm writing a review for an auto tags store, but this place is exceptional for an auto tags store. I actually enjoyed working with Carol, who is 500% friendlier than anyone I have ever met in an auto tags store, and is patient with questions. Clean, bright and well-kept office, not dingy like most places. Highly recommend. read more

Very convenient hours and location. I especially love the evening hours so I don't have to leave work early! Questions sent by email were responded to promptly. My tag return was handled very quickly and with friendly service. Cash or check only, but there is an ATM on site. read more

We're new to Philly, so this idea of privately-owned auto tag shops is completely foreign to us...in New York everything's done through the DMV. Had a decidedly mixed experience getting tags for one car, so called Fishtown Auto Tags for the other. Firstly, they answered the phone. So that's already a plus. Then the owner stayed on the line, explaining everything I'd need to do, answered all my questions thoroughly and in a friendly manner. Went over there, and unlike the previous place, this one actually seemed like a legitimate business. Professional service. In and out relatively quickly and without incident. Could not recommend Fishtown Auto Tags enough. read more

They know their stuff, but the customer service is horrible. I am assuming this is because of the lack of staff. The mother is much nicer, while also being knowledgeable. However, if you get the daughter watch out. You are in for some major sass and attitude. read more

C. Is fabulous. She always knows what to do. Makes things easy. Goes the mile to help. Treats everyone fairly and with respect. I highly recommend you let fishtown auto tags take care of your auto tags and title needs and notarize your docs. The best best best. read more

This is my goto auto tags place. Motorcycle. Truck. Imported car. No problem. Everyone I've delt with here was great. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. read more

We sold our car to our niece and went to Fishtown Auto Tags to do all the paperwork. Carol who was working was great. She was very helpful and knowledgable about the process. We were in and out in under 30 minutes and sure enough 10 days later the title showed up like she mentioned. I would highly recommend anyone needing new tags or such to definitely check out this place. read more

Giving two stars because my first experience a few years ago with this establishment was *decent* -- still not something I would rant and rave about. I was in disbelief by the way I was treated on the phone today. Not sure which woman it was, but she was so rude to me that I eventually hung up the phone because the call was so ridiculous. I am not from Pennsylvania, and so I am unfamiliar with the way everything works in regards to inspections, registrations, tags, etc. All I was looking for today was a little clarity in how these intersect. From the very beginning I was patronized and treated like the questions I was asking were absolutely ridiculous. Horrendous customer service. They got my title switched over to PA and initial registration set up a couple years ago, but I will never go to this place again. read more

Hands down the best auto tag place in the city , let alone the neighborhood! Its super convenient right on the corner hard to miss , even had a ramp for strollers or wheel chairs!! They are so friendly and professional! Carol is efficient , reliable , and makes sure you are set to go before you leave. They are always in a good mood, pleasant with a smile! ATM right inside for your convenience, and not to mention kids love it because they always have a big tub of tootsie pops !! read more

I couldn't recommend Fishtown Auto Tags enough. Super friendly and quick service. We got our car registered and our title transferred in 5 minutes! They also recommended a good local mechanic to get our inspection/emissions done. I definitely recommend! read more

The two ladies at the front weren't wearing masks... during a pandemic. If they had, I would certainly taken my business there. Looks like I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Fast, efficient, and as reasonable as a tag joint can be. I've bought alot of cars over the years and what you want is nothing more or less than I mention in my first line. read more

Carol was amazing! She is so friendly and knowledgeable. As an active duty military member we run into numerous issues when it comes to our vehicles each time we move. I was grateful to find this location and have such a wonderful experience. She did everything! Made my move less stressful and saved me so much time from having to deal with the DMV. read more

Called to ask a simple question about transferring title and registration. Instead of trying to understand me and answer my question, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and hostile. I will NOT be spending money on fees to receive a disgusting and unprofessional attitude. read more

I much prefer this place to any other in the area- they are speedy and efficient and it's a nice environment.

Excellent service! Carol is extremely friendly and had me all set up in under 15 minutes!

I stopped by this establishment to see about getting my camper registered in PA (purchased in NY) and it could not have been easier. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and helped immediately. The shop was about to close but they stayed open for me and were pleasant and efficient. I inquired about a car insurance quote and they were able to help me (enthusiastically on a Saturday at closing time!) with that as well. The location is convenient and parking on York Road is usually available. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. read more

Just got something notarized at Fishtown Auto Tags and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The woman who helped me was extremely nice and professional. It only costs $5 per seal. She also made a copy for me at no additional cost. It was quick and painless which is nice since I went during work. Would definitely go back here if I need to get something notarized again. read more

What a great experience with our new registration and plates. Carol made the process quick and easy.

Great environment, always helpful. Carol is the best in the state! You couldn't pay me to take my business anywhere else

THE ABSOLUTE WORSTI'm at a loss for seeing the multiple 'great' reviews on this place [friends of this so called business I'm sure]. I paid for the registration and license plate in October of 2015, and just received the plate today, 2/26/16, after months of being treated like i was sitting at a 1950's lunch counter. Yea, that type of mess!!! Again, THE ABSOLUTE WORST read more
