Unfortunately there are jerks everywhere in the world who don't appreciate what it's like to be in business! So you may be misled if you see a review from one? FISHERS DISPOSAL is the BEST disposal service in this entire area. They are very reliable, very efficient and very, very reasonably priced. Compare them to the BIG trash haulers and you'll see the difference in cost and service. Fishers only charges WhEN you place outside for pickup. And their Recycle Can, same thing, only when you fill it and put it out. Compare that to the Big Nationals in the area who charge whether you have a pick up or not. Several years ago, many of these outside trash haulers tried to buy up all the little guys in our area, and most of the locals sold out,but not Fishers, a locally run family business. Now I'm not in the family; I'm not in the trash business; I'm just a long time customer who shopped around, found Fishers to be the best and for over 30 years, they remain THE BEST. read more

I have had no problems with Fishers disposal at all. They have multiple tiers to fit the amount of trash you generate and you can adjust your collection as needed. Each person I have spoke with has been kind and very helpful. My whole neighborhood has them for their trash service. That would not be the case if they were sub par or expensive. read more

Lady in the office is extremely rude. Paid our bill with cash taped to garbage can, and the driver never logged it and put it in petty cash. Driver was owners son. Husband had pictures and it was on our ring camera thank goodness. Women called us a liar until we said we have timestamp proof. Then called us back to proceed to go over our entire bill since January and tell us she wasn't discounting us for us a week that we didn't put out garbage and to find a new garbage company! We did and they are so friendly. And if we end up exceeding our weight they call us to adjust. Office lady said there was only 33.00 and driver never logged it that was the drivers error. Never an apology nothing. We paid 64.00. read more

We've been customers of Fishers for 15 years. Service has always been excellent. They have always either answered calls promptly or called back the same day when I left a message. Price is extremely competitive with other haulers that serve our neighborhood. With advance notice, they have picked up hard to dispose of items such as a microwave oven, a dehumidifier, and discarded items from bathroom remodeling, all for a reasonable fee. Service is prompt and friendly. Single stream recycling has multiple options & competitive pricing. Plus, they are still locally owned and operated. Couldn't be more satisfied. read more

Please, do not support this business. First of all, they are VERY inconsistent. We never know when to expect them to pick up our trash, if even at all. Second, the customer service at this place is TRASH. A family member of mine interacted with them, and the lady from Fishers was extremely rude. She made it very clear that they did not want nor need our business. NO customer service or politeness whatsoever. We will happily support another business that actually cares about their customers who are supporting THEM. read more

We have used Fisher's for 30 years,... the entire time we lived in Lewisburg. I don't understand the bad reviews. Fisher's has picked up our garbage on holidays, rain, snow, and blistering cold. They had truck problems one time, and came immediately after resolving the issue. You can call ahead to have them pick up large objects too, like mattresses. We ordered a small dumpster from them and had no problems with delivery and pick up. And they provide a nice heavy duty bin for single stream recycling. Their prices are reasonable too. I really have no complaints. I wish they were available at our new location! Peace. read more

I wish I didn't have to give them a star to begin with because a "one star" is too high a rating. They are unreliable; claimed several times they would pick up their container from us (our landlord wanted us to put things in garbage bags instead) and took weeks and several calls before they finally got it. It sat near rt 15 and I was worried it would be hit and we'd have to pay for damage to the bin (or a car). We also went a week without them coming to pick up our trash! When we called and asked what was going on, they claimed they came by in the morning twice and nothing was out. Funny, because my husband and I ALWAYS leave trash out THE NIGHT BEFORE PICKUP. We also share trash with our neighbors, whom also had trash out the night before. Nice try, Fisher's. When we move out of our apartment, you can be sure we won't be contacting you for your services, nor recommending you to anyone else. read more
