I expected to see perhaps a small selection of various sporting goods and equipment as well as maybe a few pieces of sporting apparel. However, when I entered I discovered that Romida only sells equipment and apparel related to cricket, much to my surprise. Apparently Romida is renowned for its selection of cricket gear in the sporting world, so I guess that shows just how much I know or care about cricket (always found it a bit boring, to be honest). Whilst I didn't find the equipment and products they sold particularly useful personally, I was impressed with the very extensive selection of gear available, which makes Romida a good place for any avid cricket players to visit if they need any equipment at a reasonable price. For those of you that don't fancy venturing out to the shop itself, there is also a very useful and easy to use website from which you can order all your gear too.

It is quite laughable that I cannot change my order event just after placing it, even if it hasn't been processed yet and not ready to be delivered until a week from now. Your system is designed to rip people off! Please change my order and send me a size 10 (s). If you send me size 3XL as stated in the order confirmation, I will return this but will not bear the cost of delivery as this is a flaw in your system.

As you would therefore expect, the goods here are not cheap but you get the feeling from everyone who works here that you're in good hands and they are more than willing to point you in the right direction for what you need - I was at a recent talk by a documentary maker who I am pretty sure mentioned the manger of this store as assisting on several mountaineering films so they're pretty qualified chaps!

Those who don't take trekking outdoors to an intense level would be wasting their time at this shop as its not wise to spend so much on an item you're not going to take seriously. This is one of the smaller stores of a similar type in the city centre but does have three squashed floors to browse and knowlegeable staff to help you along.

This is a reasonably sized branch, located upstairs with up and down elevators, and just as packed as every other branch I've ever been in. If there is a problem it's that there's just too much stock on display. It takes ages to properly look around, in places the display racks are crammed in so close it's a struggle get through aisles and in some cases items are hung high up on displays that can only be reached by ladder so you need to find a member of staff to get items for you (which then maybe makes you feel more obliged the item). But overall the chance of finding a bargain or two outweighs the logistical difficulties.
