At first, I was in the wrong location on the total other side of the complex. This was maybe the best place to hang indoors with kids that was non sensory overload. It's chill, cool people working there, no annoying music, no bright colors, lights, etc. No creepy animatronic mouse serving you inedible pizza. It's only ten dollars for each kid to play, no fee for adults. They also do birthday parties and sell the play equipment. We played for almost two hours and there were enough different fun activities (rock climbing, slides, swings, trampolines, basketball courts) for the kids not to get board. My four year old loved it, and the older kids seemed to really be enjoying themselves as well. I was tempted not to write this review to keep this place to myself ;)

We stopped in not expecting to…read morepurchase anything right then, more to get an idea of what they had and how much the tables would cost. We were quite pleased with the quality of the display, that fact it would be handmade in Pennsylvania from solid wood and not some foreign made veneer item. The cost was quite nice too, compared to how much large furniture stores charge for lesser quality items. We were able to select the color and distress options, decided to pay in full, and were told it would take roughly four weeks to deliver. We received a phone call about two and a half weeks later saying the tables were in and ready to be picked up. The tables were very attractive and well made. We are very happy with them. The grain of the wood stands out beautifully. Both times we were at the store, for purchase and pickup, we were offered a free pumpkin or mum to take home with us if we'd like. We both agree we will definitely come back here to purchase more furniture as time goes on. The quality of the pieces stand out, they are handmade by individuals in this country, and the prices are very reasonable compared to what you'd pay at a traditional furniture store, especially since they are solid wood and not veneer. We were treated very politely, enjoyed the purchasing phase, were surprised by the speed of delivery, and are more than happy with the final product.

If you would rather buy a cheap set that will be destroyed in two years from kids and weather....well, don't bother going into this place, head right for your local Walmart or Costco. The sets are rugged, made with materials NOT FROM CHINA (so they won't leach chemicals into your kids' bloodstreams and kill them 20 years from now), and they are infinitely customizable and upgradeable. Bring a fire extinguisher for your credit card because it will be too hot to go back into your pocket....but after 5 years, my kids are still on their play set and it looks as good as the day we bought it (except for a little fading!)

I needed a simple replacement part for my older swingset and I was willing to pay for it. I went…read moreto the location and was told that they could not sell me the part there, that I had to go through customer service. The man provided me with their email and phone number. He recommended sending an email with description and pictures explaining what part I needed, waiting 4-5 business days, then calling the number and reminding them that I had already sent an email... Wow, okay. So I write an email, wait about a week, and call the phone number to talk to a rep. Well, you don't actually get a rep, you get an answer machine where for the first 5 minutes they tell you to hang up and send them an email instead. I left a voicemail explaining I had sent an email already and just wanted to follow up. The voicemail system says to expect a call back within 24 hours, which never happened. Granted I was just looking for a replacement part for a used playset. However, now that I see how their customer service works, I would never consider buying one of their units. They claim to pride themselves in their fantastic warranties that they offer, I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it would be to actually have a problem fixed if something came up.

Chose the 12x24 Dutch-style metal roof shed with carriage-style garage door and upgraded windows. Shed was produced and shipped to Warrenton quickly (12/18/2025). Shed delivered 1/15/2026 with solar system installed a week later. Generally, the experience was very good. Delivery was not well planned resulting in unnecessary damage to the lawn - won't know the full extent of the damage until sprinkler system turn-on in Spring but nothing irreparable. All that said, the shed was unloaded precisely in the desired location on the shed pad. Solar install also went smoothly with Obed mounting the roof-top 6-panel solar, 3kw system within a few hours. Workflow and scheduling could be improved with better coordination. For example, since the shed was due on the Warrenton lot on 12/18, upfront scheduling could have delivered the shed sooner. Also, better planning for the delivery could prevent unnecessary trial and error upon arrival. Definitely recommend Capitol Sheds and planning to buy from them again for a custom cabin to be placed on another property out in West Virginia.
