She let us know the food would take about 25 minutes since everything is made fresh, but we ended up waiting around 45 minutes for our birria tacos and steak tacos. The birria tacos were decent and had good flavor, but the steak tacos were very bland, and the tortillas fell apart as soon as we picked them up. I also noticed kids running in and out of the kitchen, which didn't feel safe or appropriate in a food prep area. Overall, not the best experience.

While waiting, I noticed some of the children in the flee market running around, and ran into the kitchen. That definitely made me feel some type of way. Why are children running into the kitchen when supposed customer food is being cooked? The birria tacos tasted good, but the others were super lack luster.

I need to look up the Spanish word for "serendipitous," because it was our lucky break. I had a hard time deciding, since they offered a variety of options that are not run-of-the-mill Mexican place offerings. I ended up getting the shrimp tostada and the Chiles Reinos con queso. The tostada was fresh, and had oodles of flavor. The chiles Reinos was lightly fried, which I liked. You can't go wrong with their salsas, either. I highly recommend you as for some of their hot version, if you're into lip burning like me. Overall, it was a great meal!

I had the Chile Relleno, my husband had the Birria Tacos, and we shared the Flan for dessert. I also had a Michelada. Everything was tasty! The only downside, in my opinion, is that the vegetarian options are rather limited. I would love to see more veggie options added to the menu.

We ended up getting bandeja don pepe, fajita, Peruvian friend rice, & 3 elote to share. My son really enjoyed his fajita, I didn't get to taste it. I didn't really like the sirloin steak on the bandeja but the pork crackling was fantastic!! I think we can just eat a whole plate of the crackling. There were no beans in the rice that came with the bandeja. There were this oil with garlic salt and cilantro that came with the bandeja, it's really good if there were bread to dip with, and it would be nice if it had lot less salt in it. We like the Peruvian fried rice, it had good amount of shrimp in it. As for the elote, it's preboiled frozen corn so it really takes away from what I hoped for. But it was loaded with queso fresco. We would definitely be back and we are planning for the enchiladas & chimichangas. Our waitress was so sweet and nice.

Idk, I don't like to leave negative reviews. But I was so caught off guard by our experience…read moreconsidering just how fantastically this place reviewed. The service was fine. I felt bad for our waitress who we had a bit of a language barrier with. It took a while to get our order across and I felt like she was a bit stressed out. The food really left a lot to be desired. The complimentary chips and salsa were not what i was expecting. The chips were really thick and stale. The red and green salsas were good, but I just wanted plain ol' chips and red salsa. We got the queso fundido and it was really difficult to eat. Grease pooled at the top when we tried to scoop it, then it was more stringy than liquidy. I couldn't find tacos on the menu (odd?) so I went with a comfort meal--carne asada fries. Carne asada it was not. Just chunks of chewy/fatty steak that was incredibly bland. Unmelted cheese on them even though they were covered in beans. Had so much potential. There was also a hair on my first bite, which happens, but it was off putting for sure. My friend got a chicken quesadilla and it just looked greasy and floppy and bland. He didn't hate it, but it looked not good. The place is also in not great shape, with broken tiles, seats in bad shape. I will say, they have great portion sizes. Lots and lots of food. I just wish it was any good. :(

The service was fast and attentive, and I appreciated the complimentary chips and salsa right away. The chips were warm, and the salsa was thick, flavorful, and really satisfying. I ordered the beef burrito, which was packed with meat and absolutely delicious. The side of beans was also very good and complemented the meal nicely.

Most "Mexican" restaurants in Central Florida have a lot of Caribbean, Puerto Rico, and South American influences. That's all great if you like those flavors and influences in your Mexican food, but this place is all Mexican flavortown. Good chips and AMAZING salsa. They also serve a delicious creamy chipotle ranch sauce with the chips. Like anything addictive, the first basket is free. We ordered a frozen mango margarita which was cold, tart, smooth, and refreshing on a hot July evening. Their margaritas come in three sizes: regular, jumbo, and monster. My wife ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla. The chicken was tender and had great flavor. I ordered the steak burrito and added grilled onions. The steak was also tender with great flavor. The food was excellent and not too expensive. The restaurant is new. The decor is welcoming and honors tequila and agave in the light fixtures, chairs, and menu. Chairs and booths are comfortable. There are a couple of TVs in the bar area and one on the opposite wall should you be inclined to catch your team playing. Service was excellent, drinks came quickly, food was also pretty prompt. I highly recommend this place and want it to succeed so it will be around for years to come.
