On July 9th, my 2-year got sick on the couch and left a large stain on the seat cushion and one of the back cushions. On July 11th, I called Malouf to file a claim and get the couch cleaned. This is where the frustration began. I constantly had to follow-up with the staff to check on the status of my claim and it took almost a month to even initiate the process. The cleaning service did come out to clean the seat cushion on August 3rd but the back cushion cover and core have to be replaced. I have called almost every day, spoke to multiple employees and sent multiple emails and still to this day have not gotten complete resolution on when or even if this will occur. I'm hoping a poor review will get the attention of someone in management or ownership but as of today, I do not recommend Malouf and will not be purchasing any more furniture from the store.

Walking in, you're hit with that familiar smell of feed and fresh soil, which is what I expected and it sets the tone for what they're all about, ya' know practical stuff for folks who like to get their hands dirty. :-) The garden center caught my eye right away. It's tucked off to the side but feels like its own little world. They've got a solid mix of plants, from flowering shrubs to herbs and veggie starters, all looking healthy and well-kept. The selection isn't massive, but it's thoughtful and caters to what grows well around here. I browsed and took note of the tomato plants and mulch, and the prices looked fair, maybe a touch lower than the big box stores. The staff was very, very friendly and really knew their stuff, too. (Thank you Mary) Inside, the store's laid out quite well with tools, fencing, pet supplies, and feed stacked high, with clear signs so you're not wandering forever. The checkout folks were friendly and there's several registers so waiting isn't an issue. The parking lot's a big plus. It's huge, with plenty of room for trucks and trailers, which makes sense given the kind of customers they get. I didn't have to circle around or squeeze into a tight spot, plus there's also a drive-thru pickup area, which I didn't use but seems convenient if you're grabbing something heavy like feed bags. Not their fault that they didn't live up to my expectations, that's on me :-) The place is in the service road parallel to Canal Rd so keep your eye out for their sign. At least they have one because lots of businesses still don't, thanks to Sally. Ample parking and there's some nice pieces on display outside. Once inside a friendly young lady greeted us and was very helpful. The large interior is clean and organized and has a pretty good inventory. I actually found a pair of Adirondack chairs with coccktail table that I liked but $1700 was a bit pricey me. It was it's made from recycled milk jugs, so it's environmentally friendly, but I'm thinking maybe I'll look for someone moving out of the area selling used for the best recycling that doesn't require any new resources and less recycling of my cash, hey win, win :-) Bottom line: The stuff I saw looked other nice but the prices seemed high. I mean at the very least before I pay 4 grand for a patio set I might build my own, but that's just retired ol' me talking out loud. They are worth a look.
