We were a little skeptical as there many whole fish in the soup, but the waiter insisted it was really good. So we ordered it. Boy were we glad we did. That was the best seafood stew platter we ever had and we are NY food snobs. Everything we ordered was excellent, starting with that soup, pasta with clams, pasta with seafood, fresh octopus and fried calamari. Oh my.... even my son who does not enjoy seafood loved them! There is a huge strip of stores and restaurants and cafes in this area and I loved it immediately. After some shopping we went here. The menu is in English and Italian. Our server didn't speak English and I loved that! We all shared some antipasti fritti (calamari,cod, and little dough balls). I had a wonderful glass of house white wine. For entrees I had spaghetti alla vongole (clams) while husband had his with gamberi (shrimp). The seafood is so fresh here it's outstanding. Our friend had a seafood soup and his wife the sea urchin. We all shared and tasted and passed plates around. It was a fabulous meal. Here in Italy you are never rushed to finish and leave which is so nice. This whole meal only cost €100 for all of us!!
