Hired them this summer to provide lawn care again. Things started out well, then I began getting invoices for services that weren't done. Although Sam rectified that situation, I realized about a month later that the crew wasn't coming out during my scheduled lawn care days. After multiple calls and emails, I unfortunately never heard back from Sam or the company.

DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys! Seriously, I appreciate your hard work.

They got my elderly aunt's snow removal scheduled right away, which made it possible for her to get to the doctor. It's not often that you find business owners who are willing go over and above the call of duty time and time again. At DLC's they ensure exemplary customer service. It's so refreshing to know that there are still folks out there who really care. Give them your business and you will be greatly pleased.

So much so the city put a note on my front door to cut it! Not only did they come out the same week I called, they quoted me a great price and started working that same week. They had to break up my property into to two visits because it was so overgrown but they did such an excellent job. It looks like a completely different house! I no longer feel embarrassed to pull in the drive but really thrilled to see my home as I pull up. Their staff is professional responsive to my questions and needs and never once made me feel like a bother. I highly recommend their services to any and everybody. I've never had a landscaper produce such workmanship and take so much pride in their work. They are truly professionals at their craft and worth every single penny I pay them. I could have cried at how my home looks now. They also were very kind and understanding and didn't make me feel ashamed for my yard getting away from me like that. They are not reliable and even when they did perform the service the quality was poor at best. Almost weekly I had to ask if they were going to show up. After contacting them I would receive repeated confirmation that they were behind but that I would still receive my weekly service. They hardly ever showed. Excuse after excuse was provided (again only after I had to follow up with them). Avoid this business - they are not reliable.

Wonder how much he would charge me for a spring clean-up. The only thing this guy knows how to do is charge high prices up front for inferior work. My neighbors lawns look great because they had people that knew what they were doing and mine looks like a piece of crap! Doesn't even deserve 1 Star, but made me leave something. I was out yesterday trying to blow the leaves that were left under my bushes on the property! This guy does not know the first thing about taking care of a large piece of property. I called Blue Valley and Brett answered right away and I could tell was on a job too; he said he'd come by to give me an estimate. When I spoke with him I could tell he was a very upright type of guy and would also do a good job. He told me he had commercial mowers and wouldn't be able to get inside a 3 foot gate for a smaller area that needed mowing but the majority of my lawn could be accessed so I'd told him to come by and do the estimate anyway but that I'd call him back if I found someone else. I found another company that came out in the evening and I completely forgot to call him back. I was swamped with work but there is no excuse for me not calling him back. I added to his workload. Brett came by and saw my lawn was cut; he called me and spoke with me very professionally. There's no shadow of a doubt that I would call Blue Valley Lawn again to do any kind of lawn or landscaping type of work and expect the best.

Anyway, step in Greg - who came to our rescue. He came out at after 10 PM that night and plowed us out - and then finished out the winter for us. So incredibly nice, always consistent, fair prices, and always did a great job. I'd highly recommend you use this company - as we've learned, few great people out there that you can depend on and Greg is one of them!

I have called maybe 12 times and got my phone answered once and one call back. I have yet to receive any mows though they have been allowed to mow for two weeks. They said they will prioritize my yard and figure out what's going on yet did not mow my yard or get back to me. Virtually never answer my calls. Happy to revise my review once they prove to me that they did not just steal my money. I know it's trying time for businesses but just a little proactive communication would go a long way. I tend to be understanding but my experience this year has been absurd.
