He is a completely different child (in a good way!) since becoming a part of the CSC family. I say family, because that's how their practitioners treat each member of our family, especially our little guy. I've witnessed firsthand the warmth and compassion they show for all families navigating what can be an extremely overwhelming and, at times, emotional journey. Melissa, the owner, has helped us find the best school environments for our son, even calling on our behalf to check avails in the programs. When it comes to your child and the resources they may need, we've found a comprehensive program and treatment plan for our son at CSC. They even helped us navigate the world of getting an out of network deficiency, which has allowed us to get reimbursement at in network levels. I can't thank everyone enough for all their help and support. It takes a village to raise a child, and we are grateful for our village at CSC!

It's been about a year and we have seen our daughter grow leaps and bounds and are so grateful for the CSC. Even during times of staff turnover, Melissa helped us find a therapist that fit our daughter not only skills-wise, but in temperament. Unfortunately, despite their services, this review is of their billing department which is oddly on time with charging your card but less so in providing a receipt of payment. They have also, on occasion, charged my card incorrectly. For those filing their super bill with insurance and require a receipt of payment, my recommendation is to consistently follow up with their billing department and to make sure your billing statements reflect their charge. I was once billed ~$600 incorrectly at a point in which I caught it in time; they promptly reversed before the charge was posted. The latest mischarge took about a month to refund due to an error on CSC's side as well as vendor processing error. I will say that they are very amenable to correct, but you will have to escalate if it is taking longer than usual. Unfortunate that this is something to manage as well, but please be aware.

The team at United Therapy Center strongly believes that a robust, scientifically proven therapeutic approach like ABA therapy requires bringing together and utilizing the history of the patient and clinical expertise to yield actual and accurate results. In that case, they ensure their programs are tailor-made and based on every patient's needs. They offer customized instruction-based programs built around the specific elements of the patient's family traditions and cultural values. The most important aspect our professional clinicians do before beginning the training sessions is learning their traditions, cultural values, unique situations, and defining characteristics. This review is in regard to UCLA geriatric medicine physician Dr. C HARETTE. We were referred to…read morethis doctor after my mom was hospitalized at UCLA Santa Monica... the first appointment I could not be attend by myself as I was not well so I had the caregiver take my mom into the appointment and I was on the phone. The doctor made a huge deal that I did not come to the appointment even though I was present on the telephone throughout the entire visit. I should've known then that this wasn't going to work out. Later- here's the really bizarre thing after Dr. CHARETTE, had been my mothers doctor for several months, she seem to be doing an OK job. I wouldn't say it was outstanding., she decided to call the pharmacy that we used and then question the pharmacist if any other doctors were prescribing any medication, I was immediately alerted by the pharmacist, as I have a good relationship with them. Of course, the pharmacist told the doctor because she is a doctor, then later that week this doctor made her business to call my mother's specialists, to let them know that she was the head honcho... after these phone calls, two of the doctors would no longer speak to us so whatever transpired during these phone calls, they didn't want to get involved in. That was truly bizarre. This doctor was controlling, and it was always slightly rude to me. There was this underlying sense of pugnaciousness. I'd like to remind the reader that just because someone went to medical school does not mean they are mentally healthy. With all the bizarre things that this doctor Charette engaged in I don't think she's mentally well. I will also like to add while some people are very happy with the dementia care clinic that has nurse practitioners and they work hand-in-hand with this geriatric office that they continually tried to put my mother on hospice, my mother was walking talking and eating and her baseline was about a 4.0. she was participating in her physical therapy and she was watching television and sitting engaging most of the day, engaging with her family members and caregivers, the only problem she had was chronic urinary tract infections due to a catheter that was not needed. she then became colonized, which caused her to have chronic urinary tract infections. It's not welcome to suggest hospice to a patient that is clearly not actively dying yet hospice is abused by many health care personnel. Just because people are old doesn't mean they should be euthanized by hospice. I don't have the time or the emotional energy to deal with people like this doctor that are not helpful and not compassionate and caring with families that are dealing with the elderly.
