My mom sold her condo last month. She gave them all of the paperwork to prove that she no longer owns the unit. They charged her for another month of service. I tried to help her by going into the office on a Friday. They were closed. I called them on Monday. It states on line that they open at 8:30 am. Instead of making a trip back to the office I decided to call at 8:45. Geez, they have a recording that states call back during normal business hours between 9:30 am at whatever the closing time was. When did these become normal times?! read more

If you would like poor management that comes along with 0 training on how to deal with floods and perpetuating lies that follow, feel free to hire them. Although the unit across the hall had a bursting pipe and the water wasn't turned off for an hour+, FirstService is currently lying about the timing. They claim they shut off the water in minutes and are attempting to gas light the homeowners who actually experienced and witnessed otherwise. 0/10 would recommend. read more

I'm sending you this email regarding about the hard situation that we are being experienced while we are living in Aventura Marina One. Mrs, María Hernández is Licenced by CAM and we already have her lincence number in order to file a complaint against her. We also have all the evidence and mails that we got from her since the day one that we moved here. She is also harassing other Jewish families, sending emails with fake violations asking for money, calling the police on them and being very nasty and rude with all of us. We are not living here for free. We pay THOUSANDS of dollars to being treated like a piece of shit. We also have pictures from all of the apartments with boxes, scooters, bikes and strollers a outside and they NEVER got a violations for that. She's being targeting only Jewish Families. IF YOU GUYS DONT STOP THIS LADY, we're gonna take actions against your company and also against her with the department of business & professional regulations of the state of FLORIDA. The right hand has no idea what the left hand does, nor do they care as long as they get their money. Three property managers in less than a year. Can't explain accounting questions, allows collections to go by the wayside. After a previous review, they tried to get me to sign a confidentiality agreement. No way. Stay strong, retain your value and your property and stay away from this company. read more

The absolute worst property management company. Their online reviews speak for themselves- after you get through the 5 pages of their own content likely that way on purpose. This company has the chokehold on every downtown Orlando high rise condo association- and it isn't because they are good! This company has a great website that answers to many of the widely known complaints of association and answers those. Upon hiring them, justifiably the community is excited for the "new chapter" "fresh start" for what is about to come of their community. The management takes full advantage of this period sinking the hook deeper. They work to move banking and insurance to their subsidiary FS financial, they work to move building documents to their proprietary software, any key employees at the building prior to their "take over" are asked to resign and come work for FS, signing a 2 year non-compete or face the possibility of being fired. Yes so if you would fire FS you couldn't keep your key people. They have terrible and inexperienced employees who are incapable of bringing together a community, a regional manager who is absolutely hands off. They keep dirty books and bad accounting records. They have no comprehension of financial documents. They take data from official records - bank statements etc and transfer them to their own balance sheet disguising deceptive and bad behavior . A google search is all you need to do to see just how awful these people are . Be vigilant! read more

A horrible disconnected company with bad principles and far from caring customer service. Bad billing practice, employees that barely work, rude customer service (when you try to call). Should I go on? If you get stuck with FirstService as your management company, you'll be stuck in a hole without anyone helping you get out. Simple terms: They suck! I recently moved from an association that was part of firstservice. The property manager was horrible, (the worst) and she was hated by the whole association but she was the best they had. She barely visited the office and was so lazy to respond to any issues. Myself and many others received promise after promise with zero follow-through. We had to chase her for everything and she'd always spin things as if we were the ones without patience and that she was doing her job! Total fail. To make a long story short. Horrible company to deal with, and horrible management and I feel bad for any association that hires FirstService as their management company. read more

Our building transitioned from another management company to FSR last year. During the transition, FSR sent out a single email regarding setting up a new payment method for HOA dues. We missed that email and as a result, did not realize that our automated payment for our HOA dues no longer worked. Instead of reaching out to us to inform us that we were late on dues, FSR decided that it was okay to just let us rack up late fees, month after month. When we finally realized what was going on, it took us nearly 6 weeks to sort out and we still had to pay for the late fees. If your HOA is contemplating switching to FSR, I strongly suggest that you protest that decision - please show them all the 1 star Yelp reviews. If your building is already managed by FSR, well, may God have mercy on your soul. read more

I'd give ZERO star if possible. First service residential is the WORST management company, I am surprised that such shithole company still exits; it has the worst customer experience and reviews. Their staff members are extremely unreliable and unprofessional; they don't care about the residents, when an issue arises, all they do is keep ignoring your emails/phone calls, because they are such a failure that they do not know how to do their job properly. Yovy Gonzales, who serves as a so called "general manager" under First residential service at Buckhead Paramount in Atlanta GA, is a complete douchebag. He discriminates and physically attacked Homeowners. He is extremely unprofessional, and the worst is that he generates fraudulent statements and invoices against Homeowners. This is ridiculously wrongful and totally unacceptable. read more

I wish I had more hands; I would give this "business" a four thumbs down. FS RESIDENTIAL is the worst HOA management company. They discriminate against certain homeowners and allow others to break the same rules. "Some animals are more equal than others." They are completely unprofessional as they reiterate the same lines over and over and never answer nor address the actual issue. The emails and letters that we have received are akin to junior high school students trying to make sense of some vague HOA rules. We have sought legal counsel. FYI: If you are buying in a HOA neighborhood, do your homework and find out if these discriminating incompetents are in charge of the neighborhood. If they are, RUN AWAY. read more

FirstService has consistently shown itself to be unprofessional, unreliable, and unresponsive. We have been in a multi-month, back and forth email chain with them to obtain new pool keys since one of them never worked, and the other was damaged. They continually ask for the number of the corresponding pool key card, even though we have sent it to them three times. Their response is either non-existent, or "we are looking into it." I have called the office three times and left a voicemail, but have never received a callback. It's mind-boggling that such a simple request cannot be fulfilled. I advise any community to stay away from this company. June 20th 2020 UPDATE- it has now been over a year since our initial request. We received a pool keycard in the mail a few days ago and to no one's surprise, it does not work. Over the past year, this issue has been pushed up to multiple people, including a corporate executive who told me she had to pass on the issue to yet another person because she did not have access to the information. This company is careless, full of excuses, and absolutely horrible at customer service and problem resolution. Stay away, stay away, stay away. read more

The worst management company out there! They hire kids who are lazy and have no clue what they are doing. They insist that you hire their MAINTENANCE employee, who does absolutely nothing for the community. Trash is piling . We report it to The Cam, nothing is done. Breach of contract, The Cam must respond to complaints within 48 hours. It's been three weeks, no response to the trash! First property manager from FSR was fired as we had money missing from our account. The second manager was right out of a training class. Total lack of attention to the property, hired his friends, the reason we have been sued by unit owners and so much more. Third manager, no experience and simply yeses us! No action! Jacqueline Rogers of first Service Eatontown NJ, is perhaps the worst property manager I have ever encountered. She and her team are completely ineffectual! During this latest snow storm of Feb 2020, our community including courts and streets went unplowed and without snow removal for two days. First Service did nothing to help, it was only the many calls of the residents to the township which finally got the plows to come and remove snow on our streets and courts, TWO DAYS AFTER THE STORM!!!! In addition, she seemed to take exception to many of the residents emailing each other to try and coordinate their efforts with the township, something she evidently failed to do! read more

This review is in regards to the newly built Lennar development located off Marina Mill on 15th ave. In Fort Lauderdale. Lennar has contracted First Residential to manage this town home community. The Property Manager May Galan rarely returns her phone calls. It takes her on average five days before your emails get a response. This is poorly managed for a brand new community. The landscaping is horrible, the grass is burnt in most areas, the roads have not been paved even though construction is no longer on the property, the place is need need of mulch, there are broken fences, the palm trees need to be pruned away from the homes, the streets have trash all over from the landscapers blowing it in the corner. Some of the homes have termites to which the Management company is not responding to. If you are thinking of hiring First Residential for single or multi-family management please think twice. It took a few torturous weeks waiting for a FS Residential Manager to call me. After waiting I started calling. The person on the phone kept saying he was elevating my case. There was a 48 hour wait between going to a higher person. FINALLY a Manager called me. They will provide an email and they respond quickly. The manager was in constant contact with me. My advice is to discover your manager and get his/her email and start a rapport before you need them. My advice to them is they should have a web site that allows FSR and residents to track cases. It would cut down on calls and emails. read more

How is this company still in business: 1) I was charged with a violation for having wood floors. My attorned and I please a case that the home was sold to us with wood floors and did not have a violation when purchased, why will we have to consume one now? Also, the neighbors all sold on the same floor with wood and did not give them violations, I confirmed with their agents and showed the emails as proof. Complete scam. Tiffany out of the Lorton location. 2) Their attorney Esther is completely incapable of representing any organization. I sent a specific and detailed email with my attorney, and she avoids all questions and does not address the issue. Nonetheless, we sold the condo, thank god! Now we have a legal suit we will seek after. We will go after for fines and discrimination. I am now reviewing the reviews and blown away that this company can still operate. read more

FSR is a horrific company before buying in any building make sure that first service residential is not the management company or you will be sorry. i sold my unit last year because i couldn't take their lack of transparency, lying, stealing and manipulation any longer. they cheat on elections to keep the board in who works with them in tandem to keep their expensive and sub par contractors (owned by FSR) to do all the work and just pretend to get other bids. nightmare company to say the least. read more

First service residential in Jacksonville is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They damaged my washer and dryer and want me to pay for it because the mgr told me she has no corporate credit card or checks. She will eventually pay me back. Over $1000 in damages. I am going to do all I can to get this association to replace these inept so called managers! Truly a bad,bad experience, and one you surely do not want representing you home site. FRS has changed for the worse. I wish I could give 0 stars. I've lived in 5 buildings managed with FRS and had 4 amazing experiences. What they are doing in the building I live in to take care of my grandmother for is abuse, harassment and if you have to ask my opinion a clear fraudulent misallocation of funds. I have personally told JP, the manager everyone wants out that I am aware of something fishy going on and he has harassed me since I've been here with malicious threats, falsified information regarding offenses and does not understand who he is messing with. I'm sure FRS is still okay, but the fact that this man has been robbing us with special assessments, manipulating the board, taking advantage of the fact that they are all over 70 and abusing younger residents like myself. Today, he made another scene regarding non-sense, and I called the police on him and made a report regarding the harassment issues I've had for 11 months now. I cannot live in peace with this man here and someone needs to take action and transfer him before causing harm to my health. FRS HAS GONE DOWN HILL.
