Living a significant distance from your rental property has certain disadvantages as one can imagine.  Well CBE has been nothing short of amazing for both me AND my tenants and has made this distance irrelevant.  Talk about great peace of mind. When something went wrong with the house, they were right on top of it.  When the tenant had a concern, they immediately responded to them and worked out effective solutions.  When there were issues with rent payments, they quickly resolved it.  But most importantly, when the house needed substantial repairs during a tenant turnover, Lou and the maintenance team simply took charge and did an incredible job getting the house in beautiful order for the next tenants.  This feat was nothing short of amazing.  And the fact that the house rented again after less than 9 days on the market is a testament to both their reach in the real estate business, and their skill in home repair.  I've learned a great deal in this past year about renting out a home.  But the smartest thing I did as a home owner in this entire process was use CBE.  No brainer.

She refuses to show a property without first having a FULL credit app on file including social security number and bank account information!! Very unprofessional and I'm sorry but I am not comfortable providing all of that very personal information without having first seen the property and decided if I eve want it. 2. She won't be your agent if it's not her property or one she specifically represents the listing. I think these practices are not only rude and discriminatory but I also think they are highly illegal. I sent over a credit app against my better judgment. The response I got was that she had contacted the owner and the owner denied my application because they wanted a "perfect" credit score. There is no way possible that all of that could have transpired within 30 seconds! Really? You reviewed the app, sent it to the owner and got a response?? Highly unlikely. I felt very discriminated against and if I am not mistaken it is illegal to practice housing discrimination in Virginia. I am reporting this office and that agent immediately.!

All he was worried about was "closing a deal", because he told me right out of his mouth. He definitely doesn't look out for what is in your best interests. He offered no advice, guidance, assistance, NOTHING! Do yourself a favor, find an agent who will look out for you, if one exists. Do extensive research on an agent before hiring one.
