This is the SLOWEST drive thru I have ever been too. Deposits take over 20 minutes waiting in line with cars wrapped around the street.

I am extremely disappointed with Fitzsimons Credit Union's handling of a minor payment issue on my…read moreauto loan. After making payments on a $35,000 vehicle loan and paying hundreds of dollars in interest over the life of the loan, Fitzsimons reported a late payment to the credit bureaus over a balance of just $10.38 that was paid one day late. When I contacted customer service to request a goodwill adjustment, I was told they could not help me over the phone and that I would need to handwrite and mail a letter requesting leniency. In 2026, requiring customers to send handwritten letters for something that could be reviewed in a few minutes feels outdated and unnecessarily burdensome. I understand lenders have policies, but there should be room for common-sense discretion, especially for customers with otherwise positive payment histories. Reporting a customer to the credit bureaus over a $10.38 balance that was resolved almost immediately feels punitive rather than customer-focused. This experience has left me questioning whether Fitzsimons Credit Union values long-term member relationships. I expected more flexibility and better customer service from a credit union.
