Stopped by for brunch on a weekday and did not regret it!! First of all, the wellness juices are absolutely fantastic! Each of them are full of nutrients and flavor. Highly recommend checking them out. The Chickichanga was so flavorful and delicious. It could use some fresh Jalapeños but overall would recommend this dish. The Elevated egg sandwich was also delicious. It was healthy and filling at the same time. The only item I was disappointed in were the roasted potatoes as they were more raw than cooked. This is our go-to brunch spot! The tacos are where it's at--I always sub the beans for potatoes and never regret it. Don't leave without trying the Morning Meditation. They have coffee available while you wait (which is always appreciated), and the service is fast because the staff is constantly hustling to keep things moving. I visited with co-workers for lunch and we were seated right away. Coffee came quick and we opted for a blueberry lemon cornbread to share. Delicious! Our entrees took a long while to come out which is the only negative to our visit. Had we been on a tighter deadline I would've worried about us getting to the next meeting. My trifecta breakfast was made as ordered. Overhead eggs and crispy bacon with a pancake. My co-workers ate their full plates too. Service was friendly and attentive. Great breakfast experience today. First time at this particular location. My husband, 2 year old and I were greeted with an open door by the hostess and were seated immediately. It's a newer building and the decor is cute. There's a nice bar, too. Our waiter was friendly and attentive with our little one. Their kids menu is great, lots of options. Our girl chose the giant chocolate chip pancake with bacon. I tried it, really good and we took half home. My husband and I both ordered one of the hash's. He devoured his and the veggie one that I ordered was also very good. Weekend brunch isn't complete without a his and hers Bloody Mary and mimosa. read more

Visiting family from out of town and we decided to try first watch for our lunch get-together. We arrived around 45 mins earlier but the waitress was so nice and let us sit and wait without pressuring us. We had a great time at first watch, we got the coffee carafe for both regular coffee and the decaf and could drink to our heart's desire. The bacon corn bread was really really yummy. Slightly sweet, crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was perfectly done and I would definitely order this again. My bf order the power breakfast bowl with scramble egg. He felt that it's a bit dry and would have benefited from some more olive oil. But considering that this is supposed to be a healthy low calories dish, I think it's not surprising that it's on the drier side. I order the 2 for you deal, you pick two out of 3 options, 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad or a bowl of soup. I got the market veggie and cobb salad. It was PERFECT. The sandwich was really really tasty, it has house-roasted crimini mushrooms, zucchini and spinach with basil pesto, mayo and Mozzarella on grilled artisan whole grain. Everything about it was really good. Definitely will have to order this again. The salad was what you'd expect of a cobb salad. Solid and fresh veggie. I can't believe it's taken me so long to eat at a First Watch. They seem to be popping up all over, and I can finally say I get why. I was very impressed with the food, service and pricing. I met a friend at the Middletown First Watch for Saturday brunch, and despite a packed parking lot and several people waiting for tables, our wait was only 10 minutes or so. And we were able to get a table on their small patio. So much on the menu looked delicious, but I ended up going with a couple of items on its seasonal menu: the pumpkin spiced donuts and the short rib omelette. These donuts were more like donut holes and were such a great taste of fall. They also came with salted caramel apple butter and crème anglaise dipping sauces. Between my friend and I, there wasn't a donut hole left at the end of the meal. My omelette included red wine-braised beef short ribs, house-roasted shallots and Crimini mushrooms, fresh spinach and Mozzarella cheese, topped with Parmesan cream sauce and fresh herbs. The meat was cooked perfectly, along with the eggs. I would get this again. I also got some bacon on the side ... 'cause brunch ... and coffee ... also 'cause brunch. Our service was fast, and my bill came to just about $20 -- pretty affordable for brunch. I'm looking forward to more First Watch brunches in the future. read more

My table was next to a very nice mom with a child not quite a year old (I'm guessing). They get 5 stars. After they left, another couple was seated there, also very nice. But!..... My complaint is no staff saw fit to sweep up the floor of dropped food bits first. The table had been cleared and cleaned alright between these customers, but the floor was in sore need of it, too. First off. I really like eating here but here is what I don't like. First, i was greeted quickly and sat quickly. The server greeted me quickly and that where it ended. I had to ask a busser to get my server after I waited 14 minutes. She took my order finally and then I waited 17 minutes for food. When I received my food I reached for the salt and pepper and both sticky. I had to go and wah my hands. As I ate I watched the busses and not one tike did they ever wipe down any of the condiments such as ketchup, salt, pepper, or anything else. After I ate I had to once again go to the cashier and ask if I could have my check and told her I've been waiting 30 minutes for my check. Told her I'd like to see a manager but told me the managers were too busy. That was probably my last visit there, despite really liking the food. read more

I typically only place to-go orders from First Watch, but we decided to dine in during the fall months to take advantage of their seasonal specials. They gave me all the fall feels! Their breakfast cocktails were BOMB - The cinnamon toast breakfast milk was delicious... coconut rum, cold brew coffee, coconut milk, and agave nectar. YUM! The morning glory was really good too - vodka, orange, lemon, turmeric, ginger, and agave nectar. It was so refreshing! I got the pumpkin pancakes with some eggs and bacon. I think I could've used a little more pumpkin flavor in the pancakes but they were still great. Overall a great experience! read more

I came today on a road trip for some food, I ordered the salmon Benedict. First off the waiter was extremely rude, treated me as if I was dumb and had no respect to me what so ever. Secondly I got my order and in the car I noticed that the order was very wrong. I called them and asked for them to remake it, and they hung up the phone right after I started talking. I drove back and I went inside this time and the same rude waiter was 'helping' me. I gave up on the order and didn't want to eat there anymore so I wanted my refund. Still so disrespectful. This all took an hour. This experience really pushed back my road trip in many ways. Im coming from Illinois just to encounter this. read more

I have to say, I've never been a fan of First Watch. I think other fast-casual breakfast joints tend to be much better. I won't say it is because the food is bad - its just not my preference; the bacon is too sweet, I don't like their orange juice (mimosas) and the entrees have never been stellar. That being said, I recently had breakfast here with a friend because it has the bonus of being in walking distance to where I was staying. The mimosa still didn't work out for me, but I ordered the Frittata Rustica, and it was delicious. The salad needed dressing, but that's just me being picky. What REALLY stood out though was our server. I didn't get her name, but she was one of the best servers I've had in awhile - so natural and so engaging. I'm raising my solid 3 review to a 4 just for her! read more

Food was good overall, but at what cost? As delicious as it was (especially the tomato basil soup!) their food is very calorie dense (even the supposed healthy menu options). This is something to keep in mind if you are trying to watch calories like I am. For example, I eat english muffins all the time and most brands are about 100 calories and theirs are 330. They really aren't much bigger than regular ones you get from the store, so I don't know if they toast it with a ton of butter or what. Also, the fruit cup was "meh"...mostly cheap red grapes, mushy watermelon and underripe pineapple pieces. My husband has gotten food to-go from here plenty of times, but this was our first time dining in together. The atmosphere was lively and the store was clean. We were enjoying our meal and about half done when the girl brought us our check. We didn't ask for it. I get miffed about stuff like this because 1.) I feel like you're rushing us and 2.) We still wanted to order more items. I'm not sure how often I plan to eat here in the future. I could justify the high calories on a "cheat day", but there are so many better food options in the city that I'd rather choose instead. read more

Met some friends for breakfast here this morning. The parking lot isn't very big & made it challenging to find a place to park. You are able to watch wait times here on yelp & add yourself to the wait list. We happened to time it right this morning & were seated on our arrival. Our server (sorry I didn't catch his name & cant give him the proper shout out) was great... always meeting our needs & never rushed us. I stuck with water & coffee. I like that water & coffee pots were left at our table ... made it easy to refill when needed. The table was stocked with multiple flavors of single shot creamers & sugars. The flavor of the coffee was good & I surprised myself having more than one cup. My friend ordered the Bloody Mary but it left something to be desired. The drink was presented well being brought out in a glass bottle to pour over ice that was garnished with a strip of bacon. The consistency was a little thick & I personally think it did not have enough vodka. I ordered The Traditional Breakfast with bacon & my eggs scrambled with cheese. My breakfast potatoes were a little hard for my liking. The bacon was perfectly crispy. On my way out I stopped in the bathroom..... and it needed some attention. Toilet paper holders were empty with the rolls just sitting on top.... a pet peeve of mine. Garbage can was overflowing with paper towels. I would come again for breakfast to meet my friends that live on the east end of town. But I will not be making a special trip to this specific location. read more

Revisited after a few weeks and the experience was totally different. All of the previous concerns about cleaning up the tables was resolved. The seasonal pancakes were really good. For a dish that on paper reads as Healthy it delivers with flavor. They consistent with dishes because the Chickichanga was just as good the second time as the first. Amazing! If you have never been, please do yourself a favor and go get the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. They are as ridiculously good as they immediately sound. This place by far takes the #1 spot for breakfast. It has a crafty industrial vibe. I love the look. The menu looks diverse and all of it looks good. Avocado toast was great. I had the iced coffee and it was really sweet and creamy which was fine with me but it didn't taste like coffee lol more like chocolate milk. Overall it was good! I stopped in this First Watch after an early doctor appointment, and I was starving. I think nearly every table was full, but I saw no one having to wait to be seated. The waitress came and took my drink order very quickly; she returned and took my order, and I received it so fast that I was concerned that the order might not be correct or was something that had been sitting under a heat lamp. Much to my guilty pleasure, It was hot and fresh and one of the most delicious meals I've had the pleasure of biting into recently! The potatoes were excellently seasoned, crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. There were sweet onions in almost every bite. The combination of chipotle sauce, chorizo, green onions, potatoes, and scrambled eggs was a delight in my mouth! Along with the whole wheat tortillas, it was an absolutely delightful meal!
