The food was very good. Couldnt ask for a better chef! And then i soilt all my quarters all over…read morethe table and floor before wr spent the rest of the evening playing pool. It was a fun time.

TLDR: Kitchen doesn't open until 5:00 PM. Below mediocre. Doublecheck your order. The kitchen…read moredoesn't really seem prepared to serve food reliably. MENU: Mainly sandwiches and fried stuff. FOOD QUALITY: Mid-tier at best. Factory-made. MENU FAVORITES: N/A. MENU FAILS: On the day I ordered takeout here, I had the "second best" smashburger, and the beef fry bread taco - it seems to me that both would naturally come with 'maters, and neither of them did. What I got instead on both was HEAPS of shredded iceberg lettuce. My guess is the kitchen had run out that day and instead of telling me, they just compensated for it with an extra helping of crispy water. Disappointing. Also the beef patties on a double smashburger are tiny; I'd guess about 2-3 ounces each - I actually speculated they had run out of beef patties as well and split one in half to make it seem like a double. The corn chips that came with the fry bread taco were stale and leathery. FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICE: Polite and helpful. The guy at the bar asked if I'd like a drink while I waited. If you're just looking for a drink, the staff here seem like they'd be a lot friendlier than what I've experienced across the street at Woody's. KITCHEN SERVICE: They forgot to put my dipping sauce in the bag. Dry fries, man. It hurts. COMPETITION: You can get anything on the menu here from at least two or three other restaurants in town, with the exception of the fry bread taco, which isn't worth getting anyway. Walk a few more yards and go to Maxwell's, or try out Hobo's up next to the Arby's on North Baltimore. ATMOSPHERE: Dark and dingy dive bar. One of those sad places where a handful of guys sip a drink in silence, spaced out a few stools from each other, doom-scrolling on their phones.
