Blue Dog Imaging - Be Seen in a Different Light

My husband and I first learned about Blue Dog when we were getting married. We knew that Blue Dog…read morewould be perfect because their work stood out from any other photographers that we checked out. Their professionalism shone through when they really took the time to get to know us to find out exactly what we wanted for our wedding pictures. I wanted to have the candid moments caught in a very classy manner. Blue Dog did just that and we have a beautiful wedding album to share. When we had our first son, Hudson, we knew we wanted Heather and Jeff to capture the little one we were so proud of. Heather told us about their baby and child program. She offered to do a session in home or in the studio, wherever we thought would be most comfortable for the baby. Having her offer that flexibility makes a new mom feel more at ease, knowing that your baby's first photo session will be an enjoyable experience, not a stressful rushed experience hoping that the baby cooperates. All of the photos that we have of Hudson are easy to brag with. Blue Dog Imaging has captured his personality and cuteness in every session. We're very proud to recommend them! We recently had our second son and we will be calling Heather and Jeff to set up his first session as well!

Never having used a professional photographer for family photos, I wasn't sure what to expect. At Heather's suggestion, the photos were taken at our home to get the most out of a potentially shy and/or uncooperative one year old! When it was all said and done, the pics were fantastic, the service was wonderful, the prices were reasonable and we've been using them ever since. Not only do we use them for photography, but we've also used their framing service. The results were great. I highly recommend Blue Dog, whether you've a gift certificate or not! You'll definitely be pleased.

I am forever grateful I found Jim on Yelp during my trip to PA in May/2018. This trip ended the…read moreseparation, loss and wonder of what happened to 2 sisters that were separated in 1922 following the untimely death of their mother who was only 35y. This reunion allowed me to connect with long lost family that had been apart nearly 100 years! Through the help of DNA and genealogy work I have discovered so many interesting connections and the little footprints and breadcrumbs left by my relatives for someone later on down the road to find... Finding Jim at the Leesport Market was a blessing! He brought both portraits and small snapshots to life again! Meeting my lost family I was able to see (pictures for the first time EVER) of my Great Grandmother's face, they also had several never before seen photos of my Grandmother when she was young along with her long lost sister, aunts and other family... Jim you are such a kind, honest and talented man... Thank you for sharing your gift with my family and others! The condition of my photos were a mix including the following issues: - Some were torn, discolored, faded, becoming brittle to touch- I was happy to see new life brought back into these photos with natural color enhancements added to some. - Some photos were very small snapshots that were hard to identify the faces due to size and age - we were so excited to see these made into regular size 4x6 and 5x7 photos and see the cute details such as a flower being held in my grandmothers mouth - Other photo challenges was the balance between light/dark this made it hard to focus in on the faces of in the photo- I loved that Jim was able to correct the lighting/contrast of the photos and keep everything looking natural, if not better than the original. All of my photos were over 100+ years old and these will now be able to be enjoyed for years and years to come! I still get goosebumps looking at these photos! They are priceless and mean more to me than any other possession. The care and appreciation for restoring family history is beyond measure! All I can say is GO SEE JIM! He will not disappoint and you will be forever thankful you did for generations to come! You are now our families "go to guy"! With the deepest heartfelt thanks! Christine & Family
