She has been sitting now for 1 hour and 35 minutes and not one person has approached her to help. Every time she asks to be helped the same lady tells her no one can help her please take a seat. My mom has an accent because she is Hispanic. I'm not there with here but is there a possibility of racism? 90+ minutes at a bank? Clearly she'll be taking her business elsewhere. Then refused to inform me of this by mail, phone, or text. This resulted in a negative mark on my credit score. I gave them the ACH trace number from NOVEMBER. There used to be a WF branch in my town, but they closed it and replaced it with a free-standing ATM. I was annoyed! This is now my closest branch in the neighboring city of Sebring and it's nine miles from home. Not bad but still a step down for me. Arriving- It's on US Route 27 South and access is easy. The parking lot is adequate with two spaces for the handicapped folks. There is a walk-up ATM but no drive-thru which I find a little annoying! Inside- Typical teller windows, cubicles for the bankers and the ubiquitous safe deposit box vault. Customer Service- Herein lies the problem. WF consolidated branches, in part, because they weren't busy enough. It used to be if you wanted to visit a banker, you sat on a couch for maybe fifteen minutes until one was available. Now, you need to make an appointment and make another trip in a day or two. Uggghhhh! I don't need a private banker to discuss the management of a bazillion dollars! I'm just a regular guy who wants to do routine stuff once and a while and these folks make it too hard now! When I finally get to meet with someone they are fine but my experience is marred by the process. It's a pain in the ass to change banks and that's what they count on. Inertia will keep me there but not with a smile on my face!
